  2. I may be able to help too, r34 coupe exhaust & dump pipe dunno if any different but it was the factory exhaust that you could 'silence' by an in-cabin switch, didn't notice any difference in sound when it was supposed to be silenced I'm in blacktown area
  3. i like the look of either black or bronze wheels on a white car definitely black sideskirts & diffuser to break up the white
  4. sure hope his wife doesn't find that page, pure goldmine for her with the divorce proceedings, seeing as all those yanks will sue you for mental damages if you so even look at them funny
  5. was a few years back since I visited the area but I remember there was a bed & breakfast right near the 3 sisters?
  6. spotted a silver v35 coupe parked on rooftop parking at blacktown westpoint, massive transformers badge replaced the nissan badge well done on ruining a perfectly good car nerd
  7. even if not, successful troll is successful; even have interstate perver...uhhh i mean posters in this thread
  8. skidpans are a relatively safe & fun way to get the feel of your car's handling & limits tracking your car is a whole other ball game to do it properly, it's all in prepping your car right, maybe find a track day that will have proper instructors who can sit in the car with you to give you pointers come along to an sau nsw event, there are plenty of friendly folks there willing to give you advice (just have to sort the good advice from the mostly crap ) joking!
  9. http://www.mobilealloywheelrepairs.com.au/rims/wheel-rim-repair.html these guys come to you, they work mobile at a lot of car dealerships, get a quote
  10. as long as they take out the useless speed cameras on the m4 heading to parra (wentworthville?) in the 90 zone just before the bridge underpass the f**k?! there's dumbass drivers around no matter what race they are you bigot
  11. from memory, in general the r33 has more rear leg room & probably a bit more on the roof compared to the 34, the 34 feels like you sit lower though
  12. I've always used powerplus as it seems like more places stock it, just as good as duplicolor metalcast imo & much better than vht. what colour shades of yellow or orange are you after in particular?
  13. there used to be a 90's model ford laser around my area with a gtr badge on it
  14. I have gout (I'm only 23 but have family history of it) basically my liver is a lazy bastard & doesn't flush out all the toxins from food etc. like it should & that crap crystalises in my big right toe, f'n painful starting taking fish oil tablets (1000mg you can buy from woolies) & haven't had any pain at all since got a blood test done at the doctors & my uric acid levels (the stuff that causes the pain) have returned to normal
  15. old photo is old, had this as a desktop wallpaper a few years ago still a great looking photo though incidentally, how does one try to post on the end of a thread & not realise a new thread is being made?
  16. same problem, no biggie I just switch to iexplorer when I go on sau I can load other forums no problems so just thought it was sau not liking chrome
  17. you should be able to pick up a multi-size pack from any hardware shop, mitre 10, bunnings etc. just ask for metal or tube spacers, if you can find rubber ones there I'd get those & cut them to size until you find a fitting you're happy with take your plate screw with you to find the right size so they don't stick out too much, you won't notice the gap after awhile anyway no way my rear plates would fit without them
  18. post up some close-up pics, definitely glossy in those pics but If it's black wheels imo gloss looks better, matte on wheels just looks cheap to me looks good so far though. well done, always satisfying when you DIY
  19. afaik, from what i've read on carmate reviews the issue is with the products they source rather than their painting & fitting. But really anything with fibreglass body parts, chances are you're gonna need some custom fitting to make it sit right. personally I had an old GTR style spoiler on my old GTT supposedly bought from carmate (I bought it off a guy on the forums) & it was fine, had it painted by a local shop & fitted it myself with no issues
  20. Chris in parts dept. from Nepean Motor group penrith is a good bloke, he usually sits at the front desk. probably can find places cheaper for parts but nepean is local enough to me & he's always been helpful sourcing parts for me especially when I first got my v36 & literally nobody heard of it (even just cars had to update their database when I first got it because they previously had no record of one lol)
  21. awesome, I'd expect nothing less if only they could re-do a lap time in an LFA when the track is dry, would love to see the match-up
  22. try carsales.com.au as you pay once to run the ad until sold. worth it imo advertised my old GTT on here & at a lower price than what I advertised on carsales & still got lowballers good luck with your sale
  23. take the 3 months, & take public transport... buses have much bigger exhaust pipes
  24. I just flash my pearly whites & my puppy dog eyes. They come flocking
  25. no! keep all 4 so I can borrow them for my car to sit on while I get my rims powdercoated in august
