  1. hey mate, im after the small tray that sits in the passenger door also do you have the little black plug that sit in the tray to cover the screw. Cheers Andrew.
  2. sure do mate. Also i went to work today and looked at the KYB range for skyline and surprise surprise it says GTS-4 r33 have rear eye mounts so all you have to do is exclude GTR's from the catalog on that section. They are all onpadible with and without HICAS aswell so they fit all r33's except GTR's also i read that s14 suspension is the same and the part numbers were the same from KYB so you can also look into that.
  3. is it a cannon from Kakimoto or Kakimoto R?? the Kakimoto R model is quite and it can be loud when you but your foot flat but at least its not a loud drone as well......
  4. yeah mate, i mean that's the exact model suspension i have in my skyline so what could go wrong. It bolted straight on and i see it bolting on too yours if it has the fish eye mountings. If you call Nissan it would be worth to find if the GTS and GTS-t has the same suspension listing as a GTS-4 for reassurance but i find it hard to believe my GTS-4 can have GTS and GTS-t suspension an no other can in the world java script:add_smilie("","smid_38") just remember that when i wanted to find out i didn't even get an answer from TEIN suspension, crazy GTS-4's .......
  5. do you have the power window switch finisher? (drivers side)
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Skyline-r33-...3%3A11|294%3A50 (check out the pictures i posted to see there the exact model suspension) hey mate, i found the exact model shocks that are on my skyline. There designed for a GTS or GTS-t which means that the GTS-4 no doubtingly has 2wd suspension. Its weird when i looked at my mountings but any GTR suspension will be different mounting and not fit so buying GTS or GTS-t suspension will be what you need.
  7. Give or take 1% there is actually no difference but if you want to go buy tests the most recent was autosallon and 3A won 1st in performance and 2nd in filtration k&n got 1st in filtration and 4th in performance and i have an Apexi and it got 6th for both but its a slight difference that i cant even be bothered to change.
  8. Hannibalk1ng would be right there. Extractors would compliment the exhaust system. The main difference would be that buying a muffler would allow you to have more power through lower range (its better for street basically). Getting that cannon catback Kakimoto make means the pipe is designed for turbo skylines so it will very droney and performance lacking on the street and even on the track you would have to reach the red line for it to feel different performance wise to a stock exhaust. Its designed for a turbo not NA, so unless its on the track at 6000-7000rpm it wont be able to be even as good as a stocker. Thats why i would just get the muffler. Its like the stock design but functions better than it so its going to be better than it was before anyway.
  9. kakimoto's are great. I would always recommend them for NA's but you have to remember its going to said noticeably different to a turbo skyline. The regu 06 will drone from a NA because its a cannon without the hotdogs etc etc. If you get the kakimoto R, part NO. (NS310) 70mm Pipe - 115mm Tail would be the best performance wise for a NA. its up to you cannon muffler
  10. i know how to fix this problem ....................... use an Apexi pod\panel filter
  11. nar i haven't touched the any thing to make it possible. Its bolt on just like it would be for a GTS or GTS-t. Feel free to buy '2wd' suspension (some sites will label there suspension 4wd and 2wd) but you have to remember as long as you have eye mounts to your shocks it is defiantly 2wd suspension so dont worry about ordering wrong. fork mounting = (r33) GTR eye mounting = (r33) all other r33 models
  12. hey mate, there arnt many companies that know much about a gts-4 they think the 4wd system means it has different suspension. I contacted TEIN and they said they dont make it then i found heaps of GTS-4's with it. This is the rear eye mounting from my GTS-4 The rear shock is KYC brand which are reasonably priced and not racing type My front springs are aftermarket (dont know what ones) This is the front eye mounting As long as you have those eye mounting GTS or GTS-t suspension will fit the r33
  13. Kakimoto Racing Kakimoto R NS310 Nissan - Skyline - R33 NA - RB25DE - 70mm Pipe - 115mm Tail AU $ 773.30 no problems. I recommend this one, it is not a cannon and the tone is amazing try searching Youtube for some clips
  14. if you want a good exhaust system get a Kakimoto 2.5" catback. They aren't cheap but i have never heard a better exhaust than Kakimoto's.
  15. yes it will be a direct bolt on undoubtedly. Apexi make there exhaust system to be a direct bolt on and from the picture out of the mechanics book they are all the same fittings as r33 GTS's so no problems there.
  16. dont know if this will help but its a diagram of the exhaust systems for all r33 skylines
  17. redline Lightweight shockproof has probity saved my gearbox. I dont care is cost more than gold my gearbox stopped being clunky and made it feel new again ended up making every single part in my car that needs oil being redline oil and dont forget the coolant
  18. If it is the symptom of starting up in a cold morning and your car puts, revs drop by 500 then back up and car shakes and you hit the accelerator and it fixes the problem its a ignite problem with the fuel. Fix it by getting new coils You can tell its a air or fuel problem when your car shakes. If you disconnect your AFM sensor plug it will do the exact same thing but obviously a different reason. In this case your basically not giving enough spark until you accelerate and that helps ignite the entire cylinder. This wont damage your car by the way, its up to you if you want to fix it.
  19. If your still interested in buying the GTS-4 i recommended you will be in for a bit of trouble. I rebuilt the GTS-4 i have at the moment and its cost me $9500 (IMMACULATE BODY AND INTERIOR) engine wise .... well lets say i drove it for 200km and it died at 176,000km (around the same time the GTS-4 your looking at went) we knew the engine was screwed which is why we did a 50thou engine rebuild to it. That took 11months, there are mixed parts through out the GTS-4 blueprint and it will leave you puzzled in parts half the time. ive spent 4500+ in parts and just suffered the top tank of the radiator the erode away. if i lived near you id help sus out the mechanics of the car because Ive been over it with a fine tooth come when we did the engine rebuild. The drivetrain and suspension in them are really heavy duty. The diffs are only 5% worn as they were designed for a twin turbo pumping machine and are not under strain. Mine is virtually coming up to a healthy state but the rule of loving a car is there is always a part not in order or broken and you will get addicted to buying parts. To sum it up work out what parts need to be fixed. If there is something wrong with the steering you have a mixture or rb25 and rb26 parts that you need to mix because the GTS4 steering has a mixture of parts.
  20. redline 10w-40, $168 for 3.8ltr i would not follow what the manual says as we are in Australia and not japan so the oil preforms differently. You will need a thicker oil than 5w-30 because you will get unwanted engine wear over time. Best weight is 10w-60 the only reason i have 10w-40 in my car is because its only one 453km ...... literally. don't go thinner than this.
  21. haha thats cool. My mates dad is foreman for Nissan workshop at Artarmon and he says if it is different it will fit on and help my car more because the cores my be larger on a turbo RB so its alllll good cheers for that mate
  22. Hey everyone, I went to put new hoses on my radiator and the bottom core is like brand new and the top one is pure rust and today it gave way and crumbled. I have a RB25DE and i need to know if i can buy the top tank that has come off a rb25det. The wreckers says they cant see a difference. Any help appreciated.
  23. yeah but i did get them at a good price of like $175 all up and the guy that i see all the time at the hobby shop only gave me what it needed. The type E is good for racing but i do want a Type D to drift.... i probily wouldnt part with the rims because i don't think tamiya make them separately and there sweet quality
  24. any info would help. This problem is annoying seeing as im trying to bed in the new engine and don't want anything going wrong
  25. Hey guys, I have a rb25det S2 engine and it has had a complete engine re-build (bottom end BRAND new all parts and top end has been reconditioned but i left all the seats and valves and injectors as they were fine) has and only done 283km because its only been on the road for 1 week. The car used to shake when i turned it on before i had the engine re-build but it is still doing it after the re-build. The engine shakes and then the car shakes from it and the RPM drops too 300 and tries too stall and will if i don't hit the accelerator to 2000 RPM after that i can turn it off and it wont do it again until i leave it for an hour. If i drive it for 15min the engine warm and wont do it again for about 12 hours. so its a cold start problem. Also i get a strong smell of fuel from the exhaust. any help would be appreciated thanks.
