  4. You will want to tow your ca if your doing a turbo, injectors & afm... Thats too much to drive on... 555cc injectors will empty your petrol tank on a standard fuel map in under a half and hour.. Not to mention the black cloud you would leave behind you...

  6. Id suggest a GCG highflow in that case.. Soent it like this... 1. Turbo $2000 2. PFC $1000 3. Tune $500 4. Injectors $900 5. Clutch $800 6. Electronic Boost Controler $500 7. DBA Slotted roters and good pads and fluid $1000 8. Sydney Kid Suspension package $1500 9. Fuel pump $300 Theirs 8-8.5k
  7. Spend some time looking at that thread with the turbo upgrades and think about your total budget... Do you want to spend 5k,10k or 20k???
  8. I have found that traction compound makes a huge difference also. Most test and tune nights at willowbank they use traction compound to help with spinage... As for a 6k dump and no wheel spin that would mean that either your clutch is slipping or your engine is dumping from 6k straight to 2k when the tyres grip... Thats not a good thing... If you launch at 3-4k you should slip your clutch a bit and by the time the drivetrain is up to speed you can completelly dump the clutch. Then go hammer and thongs...
  9. 1 bar at 3000rpm could only be done on an rb25 min... Plus it would have to have an EBC to get it there that quick... I had a high flow GCG (which is a ball bearing one) on one of my rb20's and it hit 1.2bar at 4200rpm and thats with extensive mods. I would extimate that a highflow on a stock rb20 would reach 1 bar at approx 4800rpm...

Time frame to get work done Turbos cost anywhere from $500 to $5000... But you do need to spend more money on the surporting mods to make it all work. Also after reading a million turbo upgrade topics in the last few years, all i can say is spend a few grand on your suspension and brakes not just go fast power. There is no point in going faster unless you can stop faster.
  11. From my personal experience turning an RB20 into a Rb24 is not worth it... Parts are expensive and you may as well just go to a Rb26 for the same money... For a simple 250rwkw the Rb25 is the perfect selection. Most importantlly their cheap and the parts are cheap... (When i say cheap, their cheap in comparison to other engines.)

  13. To counter axle tramp you should drop a nice little skid to get all the water off those tryes... I found the bigger the burnout the sticker it got... I never had a problem with axel tramp after doing a nice 3-5 second burnout...
  14. I also have one but would only sell it with the series 2 AFM... As i replaced mine with a Z32... I kept the plug and afm incase i wanted to go back to standard. However standard is a long way back now to bother...

  16. When i was making 200rwkw i was passing at about 13.4's fairlly consistentlly. I used to ride the clutch in 1st gear and hit 2nd gear at the 60 foot make and from there is was just "shake and bake". Once i upped the power to 242rwkw i had a new clutch in for obvious reasons. I got it down to a 12.4 and all round that area, but could not break the 11 second pass on street tyres. I refuse to go to drag slicks or semi slicks till i hit the 11 on street tyres... I am currentlly going through the motions and have been for the last 6 months of making a 300rwkw build. This should see my 11's and possiblly mid 11's with the right tyre choice. I dont want to break into the 10's cause i dont want to cage it.
