  1. The problem with increasing the speed limit at present is that there are too many cars on the road that couldn't safely do that speed. Work on getting unroadworthy and unsafe cars off the road and then we can think about higher speed limits.
  2. Good times
  3. Found something else that works quite well. I was using Meguiars Plastx however I found the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner followed by Cleaner Wax works very well too.
  4. Oh dear.
  5. I'll be there too. Checking the Monash Uni meet is on the bottom level where we've met before?
  6. My brother just did his Heavy Rigid license in a crash box (non-synchro), was telling me all about it. Sounds ridiculously difficult. Passed with flying colours and he'd never driven one before.
  7. I'm at 8x including purchase price. hehe oh /slit wrists
  8. We asked the second last towie I used (my car gets towed a lot...lol), the normal tray-back Nationwide tow truck he had only required a Medium Rigid license to drive however get the Heavy Rigid if you're going for your license so you're covered to drive a bit larger than that. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licenc...ecategories.htm
  9. I could be up for this.
  10. New layout is excellent, great read. (I knew my stack would feature in there somewhere, lol)
  11. Skyline at DECA - never. Pulsar, not this year.
  12. I thinking I was shitting myself
  13. Jarrod, your photos are killer. haha, Leon's sticking his tongue out concentrating and I look so serious: http://www.photoshelter.com/c/jrmphotograp...0000cxrQQEnSZI4
  14. White cars are pretty much the easiest to match any colour wheel to. The stock bronze/gold/gunmetal would look excellent, otherwise I’ve seen them sprayed black and they look equally as good on a white car. Looks better gloss rather than matte or satin finish.
  15. It'd be a good daily though.
  16. Another great DECA down. I don't think I'll ever defrost though, could that have been the coldest DECA ever? Oh well, as usual I've got sunburn to keep my face warm haha Thanks again to Leon & Shane for the passenger rides. That belongs to Clive. It's got an Evo motor in it and he's thinking of selling it. Mentioned $7k, pretty good deal
  17. Just exhaust noise if that's what you've been done for, nothing else.
  18. Racebrakes should have something good to sort you out with: http://www.racebrakes.com.au/
  19. Business class return flights MEL-LA-NY for me are cheaper than that. My mum works for QANTAS I've done Japan twice now, awesome place.
  20. I heart MX5's.
  21. As above, 91dB on acceleration, 96dB on back-off. I'm pretty certain I won't receive a fine. The guy said the notice will be in the mail, but he won't fine me as I'd never been EPA'ed before. I imagine anyone who got tested that night who had previously been EPA'ed wouldn't have been as fortunate. Plus my car was otherwise stock, it would have been pretty mean of him to fine me.
  22. It was sideways to a wall, the wall was about 3m away (the microphone was closer to it.) Look, to be honest, it was possibly a few dB higher than the limit on back-off, but I think the wall may have echoed the sound a bit. I'll get it tested before I go and modify anything in the exhaust/get a stock exhaust.
