  2. So 5 days straight per week!! I guess that's doable if its only upper body twice per week...

No seriously they are Dont fall for it Send the photos to me and I'll give you an honest, completely objective but most importantly sexually unbiased opinion of how you are going.....
  6. Why the heck would you stop sexual activity cause your doing weights??? Most guys I know do weights to ideally engage in more sexual activity!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Went last night and trained........... chest Trained with this guy for the first time. I see him there often but he walked up and asked what I was training and we went from there. Oh my... he THROWS the weights. Literally throws them!! I've seen him doing it before but I realised last night he intentionally throws them. Not to break them I dont think but he doesn't even try to put them down easily. He started with 24kg dumbells (ie not heavy) and after he finished he threw them down, at least a metre! So I did my set and did the same ie I threw them and said 'is that how you do it?' massive sarcasm. He laughed and said yeah bro! He continued on and got up to the 55kg dumbells (I went up to 42kg) and once again, just throws them when done. Admittedly they are heavy but he uses extra energy to throw them!!There were 2 gym workers there and they asked me to not throw them!! They were too scared to approach him !!! So I asked him to just put them down slowly.... 'nah fark it bro' But, damn did he train hard. He was relentless, didn't stop for a second, no mucking around, lifting very heavy weights (IMO). I was absolutely buggered by the end of it.

  10. Lol yep that what's he said! I'd be lucky to find any 1.25kg plates at all. Absolute tight ass thieving scumbags. Mate I'm the same when it comes to people leaving weights around. Shits me to tears, especially when I almost trip over them!! In between sets I walk around and put stuff back in their place - I see it as an extra workout and cant stand the mess!!!
  11. Re the small weights, I always wondered why we never had many at our gym.... So asked one of the PT's and he said the smaller weights were being stolen and hence why at one point there were not many 1.25, 2.5 and even 5kg plates around!!! Guys would put them in their pockets, jackets, bags whatever so they could use them at home...

  13. I'm down to 82.6kg now. Still eating similar stuff but just less of it. Have also tried to cut out 'some' of the junk but still have it every now and then.

  18. Thanks. They are definitely touching the chest.... actually maybe the last 2 of the 110 might have been a bee's dick above (didnt have a spotter for that). The 120kg I even planned to pause at the bottom for a split sec but it was too heavy so lifted as soon as it touched. Will give it a crack next week with singles above 100kg and see how I go. Wont mention my squat efforts...

  20. On the 1RM, what is a good way to test that out? ie after you have stretched, warmed up etc how many sets, what weights should you do before you try and hit the 1RM or doesnt it matter? I tried bench on Monday but I 'think' I did too many sets first? 60x12 80x10 100x6 110x4 120x1 - this was the 1RM effort - spoilt by a spotter who jumped in at the first sight of struggle, despite being told not to! Cheers.
  21. So why does your back still hurt? I see young guys come in all the time and exactly the same, they start curling with the worst techniques; lifting shoulders, throwing their backs, moving elbows etc I want to say something to them but not to fix their technique... more rather to stop curling and stick to the basics for a while, bench, lat pull downs, uprights, deads (although daunting for newbies) and yes squats! I reckon that's the BEST advice you can give them, fark trying to tell them how to curl!!!!
