  1. Nice car, the build sounds interesting. Its amazing what you can buy with 5k nowadays! Keen to read more about it.
  2. When I first contacted Brad about my car, I had no idea of the issues that some of the customers had. So I did my research and spoke to Dan (and tried to contact Bozman) to gain as much info as possible. I then decided to not take my car there and even said I would be crazy to do so. But after several conversations with Brad I decided to give him a chance. Basically, do some good work on my car and start the process of rebuilding your business and reputation or screw me over - it came down to him ie he controlled what happened from here on in. At the time it was a massive risk on my part given all I had heard and I honestly cannot believe I took the risk. But I decided to trust him and give him another chance to start afresh. So far I am very glad I did. I will add I was not aware people were owed money as I understood it to be a situation where work was not performed on time or as promised. I feel for the guys that are owed money and also the guys that did not get the work done. I genuinely do hope it is sorted promptly - for everyone's sake. In my opinion Brad's business is at a cross roads. There is no doubt, he has the ability and skill to make it work and turn the business around or he can continue to have issues and completely say goodbye to his business. I genuinely feel he is trying to make it work and I hope for his sake and others that are owed, he does.
  3. He did some of the best DVD's back then! Still a crack up!
  4. That sounds tough and looks great! Good luck and hope all goes well!
  5. I was aware of some of the issues before I took my car down to Brad and I must admit was very hesitant to do so. The quality of work, very competitive pricing, circuit car setup experience and the fact it was a one stop shop (cage/fuel setup/other fab work) is why I took the punt. Brad was open about the issues he has had to date (as much as expected) but assured me he would come good on his commitments and so far he has, in fact in some ways he has exceeded my expectations (doing work that I did not request but needed to be done ie seam welding the interior, using chromoly for certain fabrication when I expected mild steel, giving alternate and better ideas on fab work to improve the car setup, completely arranging the entire fuel system with VPW, sticking to his quote when clearly the work was more involved than first discussed etc) So I am very glad I did trust him. My car is not finished yet but is well underway to being complete, on time and on budget as agreed but to a better quality than even I anticipated. I appreciate others have not had a similar experience to mine and it may be difficult for them to read my feedback, but I can only comment on and share my personal experience at ProFab and and so far it has been very positive.
  6. Went last week after not having been there at all for 2 weeks. Cage was well under way and was looking very good. Brad had arranged the VPW rep to be there to arrange my fuel set-up. Was wrapped with how this went. Very efficient and it was great to see 2 guys making recommendations who were highly experienced on the matter. All parts were ordered and were onsite the next day!! I was worried about the fuel set up as i had no idea what parts and fittings i needed but this worked perfectly for me - one less thing to worry about! Went again today to check it out and the cage is almost done! Very happy to see the progress on the car. The quality is awesome and can't wait to see it all complete. Will post pics of the setup when I can. The cage will be done on Monday and then the fuel set up will be done. Brad committed to have everything done by end of next week and its spot on time. Brad has answered nearly all of my calls and returned them very quickly if not. Same with emails. So far am wrapped with the service, quality and overall experience.
  7. Too many people being serious about too many things. There's a message in there somewhere...
  8. I thought he was trolling....
  9. Lithium - what do you think of Ninos result? Do you think any other turbo would have performed better? Which one?
  10. Get in contact with Rex Kelway. Manifolds are very very good and are great value for money.
  11. Update: Have not had a chance to go and check the car out, despite working 10mins away, but Brad has advised the main hoop is in, rear legs, rear cross and front legs are all in but tack welded for now. The cage was due for completion tomorrow and seems to be on track. He has also completed strengthening the front control arms and has boxed it up which will minimise change of the front suspension geometry under load. He is also doing some custom mounts for the GT wing which will tie it in with the cage and directly transfer the downforce onto the rear struts. This was his idea and I can't wait to see it done. Have asked for pics which should be sent tomorrow and will post once received. So far communication has been excellent with Brad contacting me every few days to give updates and ask qns on the work to be done. Has also returned my calls very quickly. Will update again soon.
  12. Agree Ninos engine is sensational and I'm expecting similar results with mine but isn't that RB28 on 93 octane? If so then not really a like for like comparison or even comparable IMO. Those turbos on 93 octane are not going to perform anywhere there capability on any engine let alone that one.
  13. Here you go. This is from a SR22VET, dry sump using a T4 0.84 6466 on E85 with a PPG dog box in a 180SX.
  14. Definitely not a dyno queen. Thing goes farkin hard! Great car to watch launching at massive rpm...
  15. That's great to hear Fatz. My car is there now getting a weld in cage, custom fuel system set-up and GT wing mounts directly to the chassis. So far all is good. To date, communication has been great with regular contact and Brad has given great advice and information to help with the decision making process. I'm advised the cage is coming along well. We agreed to have the cage completed by this Friday or thereabouts and its looking very positive. Will keep this updated.
  16. I have Ninos' graph and video. Will post up at some point when I get a chance. I was excited by his result as my engine is almost identical bar slightly smaller cams and some strengthening mods that he has (that are not power adders as such) Only concern with the 6466 is the reliability. Power and response is sensational but have some real concerns with reliability of Precisions.
  17. Yep it's an animal. Very very nice curve, very responsive and damn is it quick!! Still had a lot more in it as they weren't leaning on it at all but at that power there was no need to.
  18. JEM tuned SR22VET with a 6466 T4 divided 0.84 made 566rwk@34psi on E85.
  19. Don't you have to run AO50's at WTAC?
  20. 1977 Toyota Corolla Coupe Manual Pretty rare from what I understand. This has been sitting outside for a while and has rust. See photos. Would go sick with an SR20DET or any other form of turbo power lol Unregistered obviously. Price: $1500ono ie throw me a number... Located in Sydney. Number is 0403 434 495. Cheers, John
  21. And I have no idea why I tried explaining!
  22. I dont know why but I did lol at that! Leesh - too much advise can drive you nuts so I'm reluctant to add my 2c.... but I will anyway.... most has been said and you know have to try and make sense of it all. Only thing to add is don't lift with your arms ie don't upright row the weight from the floor and then straighten up the back. it's easier to do with a light weight and maybe why you are bringing it up and hitting your knees. The arms grip the bar and you lift with the rest of the body in one movement. If everything moves together you shouldn't hit your knees, if the weight moves first, then you will hit your knees. Hope I explained it well enough!
  23. Lol c'mon Dan!
  24. Do agree with that. 245 all around is a good compromise.
  25. 8's can go 245 with the Kumho, a little buldge but no issues. 9's can go 255 again a very slight buldge. 235 / 245 would sit perfect but like I said go as big as you can, so I would go 245/255. Prices will vary though!
