  1. Sweet. I bought a bottle with a friend who I also track with so $30 each isn't too bad since it should last a long time.
  2. Is there any advantage to the stickers over just painting a line of brake temperature paint on the inside of your calipers somewhere? http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product...mperature_Paint
  3. You're meant to bed in new rotors with used pads. Are you sure it's not the type of pad you are using? Have you tried any other pads? Are you using the anti-squeal shims?

The pit stop bug owned me last night on Suzuka. "Not just yet" for 15 seconds.
  5. They'll fit if you swap GTR knuckles into the rear.

What the hell Steering wheel I assume? How do you tackle the kerbs so hard without having problems coming off them?

Are you playing it with traction control off and on at least advanced difficulty?
  8. Yeah they really lack droop. I guess you get what you pay for though.
  9. So the flex mid-corner was in the actual caliper? I remember seeing some data someone measured on their Evo 8 circuit car with new OE Brembo calipers. When they were brand new the caliper flex (measured with a dial indicator) was ok but it quickly deteriorated over the course of a season of track days. Edit: Actually disregard that. I have no idea if it was 'ok' to begin with because I have no idea how much is ok. They just got a lot worse with time.
  10. Pad availability is pretty good too I guess but they're not really cheap.
  11. Can't believe people pay $1500 for thrashed out OEM-spec Brembos off GTRs and wont pay $1600 for these.
  12. There may be. Are you in the US? By their rating 93 octane AKI is equivalent to our 98 octane RON.
  13. It's a Corolla. I just put a touch more timing into it and I get better economy than 91 octane and it's cheaper. Win win. It's probably faster too but you'd never notice.
  14. I noticed this and I asked the local Shell about it. They told me their E10 is only rated at 94 octane minimum. United E10 which I normally run in the daily is the same price (if not slightly cheaper) and is minimum 95 octane.
  15. Nah sorry. Here are some rough brake bias calcs to further what Roy said: R32 GTR OEM 69.2% Front Evo Front GTR Rear 73.3% Front Evo + 355mm Front GTR Rear 75.3% Front So yeah will definately cause issues. Does anyone have the piston size of the Evo rears so we can throw that into the mix?
  16. Steel dogbones would be like 600g each. I'd look into aluminium ones if you are able to CAD them up yourself. Would save a heap of weight. But I guess if you're running these things then you're already not really worrying about weight.
  17. Highly unlikely on a BNR32. I run those exact sizes on my S14 track car with stock guards and they fit fine.
  18. Just upgrade to Windows 7. I've been using it on my laptop for 2 years with three different USB to Serial convertors (all running at once on the same machine at times) and it's worked flawlessly.
  19. They make a massive difference in cooling efficiency at high speeds. Re-installing my stock undertray made a bigger difference to my on-track water temps than going from a stock radiator to a Koyo 53mm did.

That picture of Webber's wheel is insane. Can't believe the tyre held on! Shame Bridgestone are leaving the sport...

yeah that shop is great! I was in there for a good 45 minutes.
  22. I find the R32 GTS-T calipers to flex significantly more than the R32 GTR or R33 GTS-T calipers. You definately feel it through the pedal.
  23. Yeah they lasted similar for me on a 200kW S14. But they delaminated and took my rotors with them. My fault for using them for something they're not designed for though. They're great street/autocross pads.
