  1. Hey all. Got a spare diff in my garage. It's out of an R33 Series II which was just imported and had only 40,000km on the clock. So in short it's probably one of, if not the best condition one you'll find. The car was dead stock so the center is as tight as they come. Suits S14 or S15 owners with ABS cars wanting a ratio upgrade for quicker acceleration as it has the hole for the ABS sensor and it bolts straight in to an S14/S15 subframe. (Unlike R32/S13 diffs) Asking $290 I also have mint condition 5 bolt driveshafts out of the same car if anyone wants them for an extra $100. Located in S/E Melbourne.

Can't believe Alonso was that quick with "no clutch."

  4. I'm just wondering if anyone on here knows what sleeve kits Gary supplied with his Eibach + Bilstein coilover kits? Reason being I'm looking to make up my own but I can't find any coilover conversion kits locally apart from those HSDs. The kits I'm talking about look like this: (Ground control item from the states): Thanks in advance!
  5. Proper hub-centric slips ons with longer studs are the best option I reakon however you'll be fine with the bolt ons. Just get the hub diameters right.
  6. We get rorted on rotor prices here. In the US they buy Brembo R32 blanks for $60 a pair lol. I agree with the Mu's. If you find a good contact to ship them for you they end up being cheaper than DBAs!

Wow. Did not see that coming!
  8. Hey Duncan do you have any pics of the modifications you did to your subframe's pickup points? I've run out of room to raise my subframe any further and need to look into other ways.
  9. Awesome video. I see what you're saying.
  10. Basically if those bushes don't have enough adjustment to get your castor equal on both sides then it means something is very bent.
  11. He probably said that because you had already messed up the corner exit but handled it well. As opposed to backing off the throttle completely which would have cost you more time in that situation?
  12. I haven't seen any available off the shelf here. No doubt it wouldn't be very difficult at all for a local engineering shop to make up though. Fair few off the shelf items available in Japan, Germany and as you said, the US though.
  13. Got a couple more bits to sell off. KTS Harness Bar (aka. C Pillar Brace). Suits pretty much anything with C pillars as it is adjustable in length. It's 32mm diameter stainless steel. (The largest model) It is in as new condition. Pics: Asking $220. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also have an ®PS13/R32 aluminium steering shaft spacer. Everyone's probably seen these before. They replace the rubber bushing in the stock steering rack and increase steering feel and response by a large margin. It is brand new. Pic: Asking $20. Located in South East Melbourne. Will post at buyer's expense. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.
  14. The ABS sensors on the R33 and the S15 diffs are the same. So is the back cover. You may as well just leave the diff gears in the R33 housing.
  15. Hey all. Got a few bits sitting in the garage and I thought I'd put up a post and see if anyone wants them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mint condition Driftshop S/R Chassis Toe Rods for sale. They came off an S14 and were only used for 4000km. The bearings are still good and all the threads turn so smoothly you can adjust them on the car by hand. They are basically new. Pic: Cost $249 brand new 6 months ago; Asking $130. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stock S14 Series 2 seats. They are in as mint condition as you'll find. Not a single tear or burn on them. Come with rails. Pic: Asking $150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the following parts are out of an R33 Series 2 wreck which only had 40,000km on it. Therefore they are in about the best condition you will possibly find. R33 Subframe/Cradle with obviously mint bushes. I know most people know the advantages of this over the S13/R32/Z32 design but for those who don't the R33/S14 design features far less anti-squat than the older subframes. This results in a better toe curve and significantly better traction on throttle. They are also 10mm wider than the S13/R32 subframes. Awesome upgrade for your S13 or R32. $150. R33 Rear Lower Control Arms (LCAs) Bearings and ball joits in excellent condition. $40 each. R33 HICAS motor, rack, arms, etc (LCAs) All perfect $60. R33 5-bolt Driveshafts Best condition Uni joints you'll find $100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also have two blown SR20 gearboxes. One has blown second, the other has blown third. Make an offer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Located in South East Melbourne. Will post at buyer's expense. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.
  16. Come to the Tampered Motorsport days. There's people of all skill levels there. The next one is on Australia Day. I'm hoping to get to PI by the end of the year. Got to build up my confidence/skill a fair bit more though first.
  17. Ah. In that case. Assuming your S15 viscous centre is in good condition you can just tap the 5 bolt half shafts out of an ABS R33 diff and tap your S15 ones into it. Then the whole thing will bolt straight in.
  18. The R33 runs 5 bolt driveshafts so you can either: - Swap your S15 diff center into the R33 diff and use your S15 6 bolt driveshafts OR; - Install the complete R33 diff with the R33 driveshafts into your S15 subframe. The S15 subframe is stronger than the R33 unit so I'd keep it.
