How does that work? :confused: Mine been in the shop since 2nd of September and they only finished with the car this week ... i'll be waiting for a call end of next week (i guess):confused:

Just called the workshop that is doing compliance for my '95 R33 GTS25-t. They said they finished with the car and mailed the paper work few days ago to Canberra, but they don’t know how long it will take for the plate to arrive. So maybe someone got their plate recently or knows aprox. how long it takes for one for arrive, please let me know as i would like to have a rough idea when to expect it. Thanx

Mine been sitting in the workshop(getting complied) for 2 weeks now.. rang up today, they said that everything is nearly done and they will be sending paper work to Canberra end of this week. From there, would be another few weeks before complaince plate arrives then rego, etc.. So i am exepecting to get the car on the road end of this month, which is not bad as i bought it at the auction on 3rd of July. Nearly there... after all those sleepless nights(worring) and lots of talking on the phone(bills), it better pay off

Sent for an Import Approval and got approved within couple of days... but took around a month for the actual paper to arrive

Yeah imported my R33 just recently through him.. was a bit slow on things... But got a good car in the end. Its getting complianced atm

I got a phone from hong kong and they put Value price $200something. So i didnt have to pay nothing...

Dont you have to pay some big fines if you dont pikup your car on time or semothing...?

Mine is about to get on the ship next FRI, they say it will take 14 days from JAP to SYD... hopefully it goes all smooth *touch wood*

FLY GTST: Try Commonwealth Bank, i rang them few months back and they would give you the loan as long as you provide the receipts of the costs(shipping,Fob, etc). they have 11.95% p.a. i think.. and you can borrow up to 7 years.
