  1. Technically, I'm from SAU and...I'm competing
  2. Cant have been too updated...I'm still Claire Ryan
  3. Two words: Carbon Demon He's on the forum, does carbon wrapping and non-carbon wrapping. I've seen his work up close and the attention to detail is absolutely AMAZING! Obviously how serious you are about a wrap will determine how much you want to pay. Want a flawless job? Be prepared to pay. I'm guessing somewhere in the region of 4-5k for a decent full body wrap
  4. I'm sure she wouldn't take any offense Blaise but that said, have a look at the times she put down in the damp/wet. Her and Bernie were on a mission and nailed a great setup for the conditions which allowed them to win all but one stage on Sunday. If there's one thing she is, it's consistent as you said. Bris, that footage of Steve and Bernie at RoSA in 2007 is one of my favourite videos to watch and is only bettered by a video that Bernie showed us one day (which isn't online) of that same event and I think the same stage, in thick fog with visibility down to about 50mts. I can tell you that the level of commitment was no different despite the limited visibility. I was scared watching it from the comfort of a living room!
  5. Online quote for exactly the same dimension caravan as our car trailer has the caravan being $200 cheaper EACH WAY! Time to start hiding our cars inside caravan shells
  6. Unfortunately Toll is only in the region of $400 cheaper return...the whole bass straight xing is still a rip in my opinion seeing as if you're towing a caravan the spirit is only a couple of hundred bux return, yet mention a car trailer and you're looking at 1500+ incl accom. Oh, and the spirit is conveniently upping their rates just before targa and dropping again not too soon after...
  7. The Bride is going to BawBaw...got some bloke named Bernie Webb calling her notes
  8. We're not sure if we will be dragging the Evo down for another Wrest Point. Unfortunately the cost/benefit ratio is rooted and even more so this year with the very early afternoon finish meaning it is really only a 1.5day event now. Add to the highway (or seaway) robbery that is the "Spirit o Tas" and its not hard to find other things to spend the cash on. Pity really, because Tahune/Airwalk is the bomb!
  9. We saw Quinny's lock-up marks on the way out of Tahune on Saturday arvo...some of the darkest lines you've ever seen! Went down the Longley stage on Sunday arvo and don't remember it being THAT bumpy. Also the Forestry Comm didn't bother sealing all the potholes on Tahune/Airwalk this year, they just filled them with gravel
  10. So is actual spectating Seriously fast pace in EM this year...did everyone have red cordial for breakfast or something? Sheesh!
  11. Of course he was invited to run 'as is'...has a big wallet obviously. Also was spotted by numerous people conducting recce in the competition car...
  12. Yes, it is Jeff D and its an Evo 10 SST. So yes, auto
  13. I was surprised they didn't "scramble" the safety car so the chopper could do that!
  14. An old rule I go by is... 1 by 11, or else 11 by 1...
  15. We need Ash in this thread a bit more....
  16. Yeah it certainly provided something different in Gouger St on Friday night...and I was sitting next to that pretty woman you speak of...my fiancee Hahahaa
  17. Mike, off the GT-R topic, but I'm driving/co-driving the Jag XK-R you guys wrapped, this weekend in Targa Classic Adelaide. Awesome job you've done on it!
