One of my mates went thru japlink and bought a car off them... lasted 3 weeks then problems arose all over the place and they were a bugger to deal with. If you do buy it, for sure get a inspection done just so that they can at least check the basics. As with kms it is very hard to tell original or not.. like mentioned above check condition of the rest of the car to help. I bought my '98 R34 GTT Sedan with 45000k on the clock and i am pretty sure its original kms as engine inspection and other durable parts looked to be "warn" properly. I paid $22k aobut 8 months ago for it and its a turbo so looking for a non turbo i would suggest if you can pay around $16k as you can get turbo sedans privately for like $18k and coupes for $20-23k. Also japlinks warranty doesn't cover alot of things as my mate found out... if u want to know more give him a pm, he is on these forums: hempy33 My insurance is $2000 for a turbo, i am 22 with one at fault accident in 5 years. I am with justcar but they have alot of excess's if you do need to make a claim so it appears cheap but if i need to claim then i pay the extra there. Also can i ask why are you looking at a non turbo? If you haven't already I would test drive both as whilst a non turbo skyline is still nice, it is alot harder once you have bought it to make it a turbo compared to already paying the little extra and getting one stock and from what I have read the fuel consumption is very similar on turbo/non turbo models in the r34's just depends on how you drive it and where your driving. I average 10l/100km and i do city driving at each end of my trip and hwy driving in the middle... round trip of approx 140km per day and get last time i almost ran the tank fully out of 570km... standard except for a pod filter. Just somethings worth considering. Hope it helped. Drew.

Hi All, I am looking at getting some Teins HA coilovers second hand ones, and even though they appear to be in good condition I was wondering if the springs are replaceable like in the other coilover brands like G4's. Also any input on whether they are any good for daily driving, etc would be appreciated. My Car '98 R34 GT-T Sedan. My car is a daily driver but would like it to handle a bit better, and noticed my rear suspension is starting to go car has 75000km on the clock and i have had it since 45000km since last August so I do a fair amount of driving. I don't want it to be so stiff that its uncomfortable as I drive 1hr to work each day mainly freeway but some traffic at each end. Was interested in SydneyKids setup but at the moment $2k is out of the question, looking around the $1k mark. The car might hit the track very occassionaly but mainly want something for street use better then stock suspension. Drew.

lanky71 replied to HolyEvil's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Do you have any link to a site with info on this type of coilover? I am in the market for some at the moment but not much idea on em, mainly looking for a daily driver setup with better handling without the major "stiffness" Drew. -

lol, if you read the conditions when you join the site there is a bit in there about SAU not being liable for such actions as you should have adequate protection. -
I am pretty sure that my muffler lets the exhaust out both pipes. Must be one of only 2 with the stock muffler still on the car lol

Never new they made so many varients for that model! http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/skyline/1998_5/ They even had a RB20 version very rare, maybe you can't import em into oz hence why never heard of em. Yeah I would go for the GTX Turbo seems like a premium version of the GTT.

Average Prices For A Turbo Back Exhaust System?
lanky71 replied to kelumzi's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Depends on your car and also brand of catback etc. I found a Apexi 3" Catback system starting at $750 not fitted.. but for a R34 GTT Sedan they wanted $899.. it was thru - guess you have a R32 gtst they dont actually fit after i wrote all that so cant be bothered to delete it... TRUST Power Extreme II - Fits all R32 models $879 not fitted. http://www.psiparts.com.au http://www.justjap.com Sure there are heaps others I just don't have em off the top of my head. -
Didn't think the GTX came in turbo form.. unless it has a aftermarket turbo as far as I know the GTX has all the Turbo options as in 17" Wheels, stiffer suspensions, etc but without the turbo. But don't quote me as I ain't a total expert - lol
