  2. Good Call You me ** decides to leave the thread with what little bit of dignity left **
  3. I know a 26 year old who likes skylines, her b/f drives a wrx but it ain't a hatch so she hates it... mind you she ain't that into my car cause its a sedan but then again how many sau'ers like the 4 door LOL
  4. 22 going on 23... pulled more chicks in my alfa then my line so far... once i finish pimpin it out hopefully that'll change
  5. Wonder if it will fit series 1 then? Cause I already have the break light but it is lower down. I like the rear bar on that sedan wish I could get mine to look like that, thats the only thing i tend not to like on the sedan is the blinkers nad reversing lights i like the way the coupe has em setup way better.
  6. Hey, Any ideas for other places to get that sort of lip picture cause thats the one I am looking for... Only seen it on a standard R34 2000 model GT. Drew.
  7. I am not too sure on reliability as have heard good and bad things about them but Japlink motors in along haberfield rd, might be worth a look in there. I personally wouldn't touch the car you are looking at is just sounds like you are going to end spending huge amounts on someone else's problems. I can tell you from my experience got the car looked over by the nrma and now well actually started like 1 month after i bought the car electrical issues have been coming and going... the car is being looked at once again today and the guy reckons its the alternator and that most likely won't be covered by warranty dealer or extended and this car was in perfect mechanical condition, so will see what the dealer says but thats just agood example of how a perfect car can have issues not picked up by the nrma or even a skyline mech. as these things just happen. With the car having "moderate" issues already I would think they would just get worst, anyway probably not too helpfull but that is my experience.
  8. http://www.carmate.com/product_details.php...S&p_id=8233
  9. the skirts i got on mine look like factory ones i think, and i got them from carmate.com. that sux dude, I have done the same thing came out of tight spot and forgot about the side of the car but luckily never damaged like that usually just some minor scratching....
  10. Or alternatively go for a automatic R34 GT-T 4 Door then simply get the manual conversion done later, I think people were talkin around the 5G mark you can now get a decent R34 GT-T Sedan for like $22 even less if you import thru someone like j-spec. Depending where you are I would suggest take a look at places like: http://www.northshoreprestige.com.au or even drive.com.au/carsales.com.au as there a usually heaps on there thru dealers. I had my car inspected by nrma when i was buying it and all they picked up was some minor rust in the actuall boot (surface rust) and that the car had previously had some panel damage as the paint respray on the right hand back side had little tinny bubbles in it bairly noticable... apart from that they said it was in pefect mechanical order and he personally thought it was a good buy.
  11. Pending results of what Ash finds out would be interested if the price is right.
  12. You state they are only for 2 door but I assume the 4 door mirrors are still the same as the 2 door? In saying that the box states 2 door... Interested in these can anyone confirm they will fit 4 door R34?
  13. You should contact hempy33 on this forum he has some put in, his folks got them for him for xmas they look good when sitting in car parks. I think his might be leds with multi colours but should be same install..
  14. Umm our original poster not been back since he made his first post.... and the usual threadwhores have turned this into the hornsby/cc/spamtown thread LOL....
  15. I've got the same issue in my R34 GTT, i reset the ecu and disconnected the battery it worked for like 3 weeks and now is playing up again... I am taking it a autoelectrician tomorrow but he said these things are very hard to diagnose as this is the 4th time this issue has arisen and he has looked at it once already.... He did mention that maybe it was the alternator, either faulty or the alternator is putting too much power thru the car via the battery when firstly starting to accelate or slow down and hence the car for safety reasons cuts out so not to fry anything, will let u know what he says tomorrow providing i get the car back then...
  16. Was that near penrith?? Apparently some wrx guys i have talked to reckon its all show no go...
