  2. Spotted GTRSaurus (R32 GTR White) along entrance rd, erina. 6pm Drew.
  3. Parents got petrol today in Sydney around epping for $1.29 for Premium Vortex not 98 octane the standard premium... I got same petrol in Erina for $1.30.... Pulled up at the wrong pump as the servo only has one Octane 98 Vortex pump I now learn... Drew.

    Window Tinting

I own a R34 GT-T Sedan and all the sedans I have seen come with dark window tin on the rear window, back seat windows and then the front seat windows are not tinted. I was looking at getting them tinted but figured the dark tint on the back is prob. illegal darkness in oz to be put on the front. Drew.

    New Infiniti G35(s)

This is just my opinion but the V35 or 350GT's are not a "real" skyline... Fair enough they have similar power to the R34 Turbo's but they ain't turbo, they have dropped the Four Circle Break/Tail Lights and they are more like a 350Z... 350Z is a nice car but it is not a high performance car. I opted for the R34 over the V35 simply because this is how I see a skyline being, or a R31/R32/R33... the skyline sold out here not the GTR i.e. the skyline silhoette.. (pardon spelling) is not according to me a real skyline either it is just a "maxima" with a different name. Drew.
  7. I am with Just Car and they told me that they only did market value not agreed value. Not sure if it is a case by case thing or not cause for my R34 GT-T 1998 stock with upgraded stereo it is only insured for $22500... Me being 22 years old and only have 50% ncd as I had an incident end of last year costs me $2105 but then the excesses add up to $1200 is stollen or $1800 if in a at fault accident. Or something like that coulnd't be bothered to get the paper work out. Funny thing is, my Alfa was costing me $2800 in insurance and it aint a turbo and it was totally stock... And that was thru AAMI, Just Car wanted $2500 for it. And it was insured for about the same price as the skyline. Drew.
  8. Spotted a White R33 GTS-T in Epping on Oxford St. Past it as it was turning onto oxford st from parked didn't catch the number plate. Drew.
  9. Ok, that was going to be one of my questions. With so many cars be defected how do I know that I won't get done just because the police officer is in a bad mood or something even with just one mod. Ah, yes I see it now. It says for R32/R33 but I am guessing that it also works on a R34? Ok, noticed in another thread he was stripping your car and selling all the stock parts. Just assumed. Still got to wait like another 3-4 weeks before I will be ready to get any exhaust system but at least now I know exactly what I need so I can take a look around. Is there one brand over another or over all the others that you guys recommend? Drew.
  10. Thanks, will keep an eye out for your tutorial, did a search for user sydneykid but could not find him so I did a search just for that name in the threads and came across this: Is this the system you were talking about mad082? This is the rough quote I have already: In that quote it is stated that, that is retail price and that no one pays retail so obviously they can do better but do all kits contain the above mentioned products or does this one have something extra. Drew.
  11. Ok, That answers alot of questions straight off.... Well thats it first thing is the exhaust system and probably at the same time the intake bits.... I was talking to "Satanic" about the exhaust system quote so I think that he would use the good parts and know what to do as he did the work or some of the work on your car "abo bob"? I was just double checking that there was nothing really minor that needed doing, figured get it out of the way first. I will leave the BOV then, figured it wouldn't make any noise anyway like mentioned above with the "dumping" of the pressure. So thats good. Drew.
  12. Ok, I am extemely happy with the R34 GT-T Sedan I have and its stock apart from the body kit, but I figure upgrading parts can't hurt. I was wondering what to do first, been looking at a 3" exhaust system from the turbo back but it is going to work out at approx $1600 so the first upgrade whilst I put money a side for that... what should it be? BOV - Get a cheap BOV to help with the Turbo turbine - this car is an Auto but been told bov's still work on them.... Air Filter Box - Upgrade from stock POD Filter I really am a novice at this whole arena so I am trying to learn but would like any suggestions or feedback you guys/girls have. Also if I upgrade a part and it means something else needs doing can you also post that... wouldn't want to ruin the car BTW: The installs would be done by a professional not me. Drew.
  13. Here is my 4 Door, though not sure if I am "allowed" in this thread all beit me being from NSW..... See more pics in my Album - link in signature. Currently the only mod is the body kit, only had the car for 6 weeks... plans to do a whole lot more. Drew.
  14. Sorry my post is really off topic but I just realised.... Your car is pictured in Septembers High Performance Imports magazine, I am fairly new around these parts and got that magazine as I noticed the Top Secret V2 R34 on the cover.... You are famous dude! Depending which state you are in, hopefully will meet you at one of the cruises or outings. Drew.
  15. Sorry was that aimed at me? My one is a R34 4 Door. You can see pic's in my album link in my signature. There is a thread about cars in the "waste land" but it ain't restricted to 4 doors... Drew.
  16. Spotted a Maroon Colour R33 Skyline with numbers plates AA something on oxford st, epping about 1.5hrs ago. Drew.
  17. Ahh... So no use buying them if you want to drive around with them on Drew.
  18. My Stock Beast - Stock for the mean time anyway - apart from body kit. Note: Not my place, just where it gets washed Drew.
  19. Hey, I thought neons and underglow of any sort was illegal? Or is that only in NSW. I have seen like one car with underglow and it was a WRX on the central coast. Drew.
  20. I too am looking at getting a 3" turbo back exhaust system. Just got to save up a little bit more. I suggest that you contact "satanic" I think thats how you spell it, he has a workshop on the north shore and can do the whole thing, purchase and install. Drew.
  21. I wound't say its weird, lots of professionals like to explore their creative/exciting side by having very unique exciting cars.... Also comes in handy being a lawyer to get off those speeding tickets/defects/suspensions... Drew.
  22. Yes, Manual 4 Doors of any model are hard to find. I think most of the 4 doors were auto's then they would have been converted to manuals. Drew.
  23. I had this problem when I first picked up my r34 turbo from the dealer. He did the diagnostic and it turns out it was a speed controller. He said just keep driving it till the part comes in... Then 3 weeks later the warning light switched off and no problem since... Though I have had the speed controller replaced just in case but it is amazing what sorts of warnings this advanced electronic controlled cars can give you. Battery was out of the car for one week whilst a body kit was installed, then the driving to work on the F3 in Sydney to Gosford car turns off and does some sort of emergency breaking, turns out one of the battery cells had died and was only causing a fault occassionally when more then normal power was being consumed. Naturally this was a wet day, so had headlights, wipers, stereo and the driving aids were occassionally kicking in. Anyway, moral of the long and pointless post Find yourself a good "import shop" that you can build a relationship with so that you can have problems solved easily and without being ripped off or car damaged by a mechanic who does not work with imports. Also just incase you didn't know where your diagnostic plug is, it is below the steering wheel to the right it has a little latch where you can unplug it and then plug it in to a diagnostic tool or workshop... or even one of these great new toys from greddy I seen in the latest high performance import magazine. Drew.
  24. Hi, I am not totally sure about r32's but in r34's the 4 door is cheaper then the 2 door coupe. I would assume that the r32 follows this as well. Drew.
