Spotted like 5 skylines going down beecroft rd this morning around 8:30, one included Wink he was beeing followed by a silver R33, the others were before him a white R33, maroon R32, black/grey R32.
Hey,
Let me know if you do notice it stops the car headlights from dimming and better idle cause at the moment my car lasts like 3 months then the idle gets so bad that at low revs it stalls and when the headlights are turned on the radio and internal lights turn off then turn back on... Auto electrician said he couldn't find anything wrong so it happened a couple of days ago so i simply disconnected the battery and reconnected it and its not happended again since, but this is like the 3rd time its happened. Seems to be every couple of months.
Here are some of mine before and after bodykit, none very recent but no changes to the outside since these were taken. Will have to get some glamour shots next cruise...
Hi,
I know nothing about coilovers or should say very little but I take it these will fit a R34 GT-T Sedan?
Also can you point me in the direction of the info on them just curious about the adjustment settings, etc.
Drew.
Spotted a Silver R34 Coupe heading along pennant hills rd around 5pm heading towards hornsby, i was just coming off the f3 and waved but you were all the way over in lane 1 me in lane 6.
Hey Wink, That was me! Did ya see me crazy waving out the window as usual??
Somedays i start at 10am at Erina so i always along beecroft rd that time.
Drew.
Spotted a R32 Dark Gray heading down Beecroft rd this morning around 7:45 and then 2 minutes late a White R33... they were both heading towards epping me heading towards pennant hills rd.
Then spotted a Blue R33 with number plates AM42VG heading along the f3 about 40 minutes ago....
Nah, its Silver 4 Door but no cromies and no wing.. I got stock wheels on it.
You might have seen me a couple of times when i was taking my car over to North Shore Prestige, I think I might have spotted ya twice when I was coming home or dropping the car off over there.
I never asked to have it integrated, so I have an extra thing with buttons to operate alarm. I had the same thing when I had the standard imob. just it only locked/unlocked the car no alarm function.
I paid $250 for the alarm M80S (theres like 4 different models i think) and $230 for install of that plus some other gadgets.
The japanese imob. don't meet aus. standards so you will need a new one. When I bought my car the dealer put one in at no extra charge, but since then I got a Mongoose M80s. Nice alarm with all the features you could want.
I also have the greddy turbo timer (Silver) got it from Autobarn from $130.
In reply to the others mentioning about easy to steal etc, I got a pro. to wire it into the imobiliser and alarm system so if the car is broken into whilst on turbo timer the car shuts down and its imobilized.
I heard that you don't need to cool the turbos down unless you drive like a hoon constantly but I drive on the hwy to get home 110km for like an hour so I do it just for safety lets the whole car take a breather rather then just shutting down. But each to their own.
Hi,
Thats interesting as someone else mentioned that, so far all the R34's I have seen had them so I assumed that they kept em, do you know why they had to be removed? Is it cause they are so bright or something cause I know the ones I had are super bright.
I do hwy driving but also stop start driving and get about max. 580km out of the tank, but average is around 530km with the fuel light just coming on and takes 55 litres its a 65 litre tank.
Thats with a little bit of lead footing as well so its not bad for such a powerful car other four cylinder cars I have owned only get like 650km so the extra couple of dollars means nothing for the performance enhancement.
I run mainly Vortex 98 or V-Power - Haven't tried the V-Power Racing as yet only because every shell i pull into I can't seem to get the bowser with it, but anyone know if putting that ethanol blend in the skylines is bad? As I have heard different things and not sure whethers it a good idea to try or not.
98 R34 GT-T Sedan.
