  1. Hey guys i cant help but noticing a lot of u use the words rice to describe the GTR badge imitation thingy....where actually rice is a word that v8 Chev drivers in the USA invented for describing any car that is JAP (the connection Jap and Rice...can it be anymore obvious...like Italian and Pasta) So really wannabe racer boys are not rice....but all of us are rice........keep cool.
  2. HI all I have recently got a non-turbo R33 as a temporary car...and i was just wondering...what cars u can actually beat in it? I mean i was given a good run by a Celica the other day...and i was a bit disappointed.....I mean surely i cant expect to beat a V8, or a turbo import.....but what about Commodores and Falcons? Ta
  3. how do u have 2 drive to get 7 seconds? I mean launch RPM and shiftpoints? im getting much slower than that in a NA R33
  4. Sorry about this late reply I'm currently overseas. Let me rephrase that. The Intercooler is free, the turbo is free, I only have to pay the labour and anything else that is reqd?
  5. Thanks, that's really handy info....r u sure that I have to change the ECU?
  6. Guys I was just wondering whether it is worth putting a factory turbo on my GTS R33? The turbo is free btw....What are the pros and cons....after affects of performance etc? Ta.
  7. I got busted by the damn TOG unit Dandenong. Canary for failing the 'Can' test, 9.2mm.
  8. Any one checked out this site? www.toprpm.com Its got cool clips, and pics of these Arabs in the UAE, with awesome cars, in Skylines smokin Lambos, Porsches, etc. Neat.
  9. I think that the body kits, and 'look' features are ok. Makes the car look better. But badges are just going too far. But otherwise, who cares?
  10. I'm not sure. ITs a 1995 GTS R33, UM. 2 door. I think its series II.
  11. I was just wondering if anyone knows how much kW a non-turbo GTS r33 has. and its 0-100 times and 1/4 mile times if possible. Ta
  12. yeah...a silver one i think, taking off, but thats it. Mainly Holdens and Fords. IT was exaggerated and biased as usual. Ahhh. the age of propoganda.
  13. MayB in Sydney, but not in Melb. And akeenan tried to contradict me in a statement the explicitly stated :In VICTORIA.
  14. Mate, I'm a plater I should know. If u drive a V6, and the P plater next to u is in a V8, the cops will always stop the V8. i agree with redline2003. Yes they will stop Jap cars, but not all the time at night. U describe it as if u cannot get from Point A to Point B without being hassled. There are not enough police, or resources to pull off such a feat. Please, stop being so self-righteous, unfortunately, u cannot always be right.
  15. In Victoria the cops don't care about the power to weight ratio unless ur in a V8. I've seen P Platers in r33's 34's some GTR's STi's and EVO's. The matter of the fact is, there is a loop hole. The cops will stop a P plater in a V8 (about the power-weight rule), but not in a little jap econo box that would eat the V8 and spit it out.......Thank God.
  16. Surely R34's are not that common. R33's yes..everyday I see at least one. But R34's.....rarely...or unless I go to Chapel Street...hehehe

  20. Thanks Guys ur info has really helped.
  21. As the title of this topic suggests, i want to know how to drag a car, to its maximum potential. I've heard lots, about when to shift, 'flat-changing' etc. I just want to know what is the best way to take off, and follow through to get the most out of any car. (Manual ofcourse!) THe problem is that i cop a lot of wheel spin. I'm young and inexperienced. So anyone with experience can help..... Thankz
  22. Its called Exaggeration my friend. ofcourse it not 100% true. But u must admit, elderly people do drive GTR's in Japan
  23. Who cares if old people drive Skylines. They are not reserved for young people. Besides, in Japan every Grandpa Joe around the corner drives one. And about Melbourne West...yes it is dominated by Holden and Ford. But there are a heck of a lot of skylines......lots. Especially R33's. Lots of R32's and a few 34's.
