where im from, they have an unmarked SS with frangepani stickers on the back window.... they put p plates on xr6 turbos, they use falcon and commo utes... the also just got 3 new xr6 turbos, marked, but all in bright colours... green, orange and blue...

jsut be careful, its ver dangerious. lots of blind corners, that you may underestiamte. lots of people i know have come a cropper, and spun into the railings, leaving a nice ding to fix up.. even at speeds like, 60km/h its hard...

dont take it to an auto electrician. their job is to fix problems to do with cars stock electronics. dash wiring loom probs, etc etc. not installing car audio. take it to a proper car audio installer

itll be shyte. those 8" coaxs are crap. you wont get bass becuase there isnt an enclousre behind it... what people need to understand, is that to get any sort of bass out of a speaker, some sort of enclosure is needed. this seperates the front wave from the rear wave, and therefore stops cancellation. this is why we sound deaden, and seal doors, because it creates an enclosure....

if you have subs, there is no need for 6x9s.... just a set of 6.5" coaxs int eh back will do it sweet however, like i said earlier in the thread, get the qmax invisibass, a small 2 channel to bridge to run it, and slide it under the front seat...

actually my friend, if you cared to view the picture of the amp, you will see that it allows LPF on both 1+2 and 3+4 inside the red circles are the filter settings, inside the yellow settings you can see where it says "LPF" on both sets of channels. set both of these to LPF then, set the lowpass filter dial to the 80mark on all of the filter dials. set all of the low boost dials all the way to 0. you dont want these on, coz it will cause distortion leave all the level dials where they are. so you need to bridge a sub to each pair. so one sub to 1+2 and the other the 3+4 you will need to split the RCA cables though, from the single pair of subout, to 2 pair. one for each channel. then use the 2 chan to run the front speakers

Is there any companies like Jspec and the like who will help me import from NZ? if not, can any tell me approx costs to get a car over here, and other costs involved? im assuming it would be similar to importing from japland? please, if there is a topic covering this, direct me to it, as a search gave me nothing. cheers Matt
