  1. Remaps can handle bigger injectors, afm's etc. My RB30DET was running a remap with z32 afm and 550cc injectors. The difference is that Nistune is live tunable via the consult port, whereas a remap is tuned with a romulator (usually) and then a new EEPROM is burnt.
  2. They definitely do Nistune for skylines. It's R33 GTSt's that they can't really do (they can but they need to use an R32 ecu). If they can do my Neo engined auto stagea then I don't see why they can't do non-turbo Neo'd 34. Ring Hyperdrive, CRed or Allstar.
  3. I just saw this and have decided, I HATE YOU! Did you do it yourself?
  4. I don't think IMPORTs are such a drama anymore, I didn't think SGIO would even think of insuring either of my cars but I was mistaken. As for the modifications, they said as long as it is legal it's all good. I think your major hurdles are going to be your age.
  5. What about Nistune?
  6. A3 isn't very big. Most camera stores will print up to a pretty large size and will also block mount. I am going to get some of Marys' paintball photos of me blown right up and block mounted
  7. 25 is the magic number for age. If you have minimal mods (read: next to none) and you're over 25 then other places will look at you. Got a quote from SGIO to insure the stag (as that's who my home/contents is with), they said they might possibly be able to do the skyline but would need to do some sweet talking to get it insured for what I want.

My mate is getting his early bird entry in but I'm going to wait till my car is actually going before I send my entry in.
  9. You don't work for Fastway do you?
  10. Nowhere near out of control, just decided to do it all properly instead of trying to hold it back because of certain components Had big dramas with the exhaust manifold which set me back a couple of months
  11. Might aswell do a basic twincam conversion.. we did mine in a weekend (was my daily) using all the stock bits (with a 25 turbo). I was lucky enough to get a block with some matching forgies and a 25DE head but you've already got a 25DET head and an RB30 stock bottom end in good condition will take a fair hammering.
  12. Excellent! still stock twins? Mine is all starting to come together finally! Got my injectors a couple of weeks ago and last week my sump, ATI balancer and some gauges rocked up
  13. I know of a single Bosch 044 (intank) supporting 580hp@hubs.. I got me some Spool rods which will be going in soon, for $750.. wasn't really worth doing anything to the stock rods.
  14. They're only for people who like driving their cars, not show-ponies or princesses
  15. Make sure you get the big one for the 25t boxes and not the smaller one meant for the 20 boxes.
  16. GTR ignitor and harness will work fine on an RB20. I'm running a GTR coil harness on mine, the difference in only physical in the loom (the iginitor sits in a slightly different place on 26's).
  17. Which part? dump pipes and front pipes are the same, cat-back is different.
  18. Search the intraweb, I found one not so long ago (800 page .pdf). If you can't find it, send me a PM and I'll dig it out when I get home.
  19. Brad, I'm running an OEM RB20 water pump on my 30. Bought it brand new and because it was my daily I opted not to go for the N1 waterpump.. now that it's not a daily though.. hopefully it does alright.. new revlimit will be 7500rpm.
  20. Need to be able to tow it first.. so, Mr Suspension man, would I need new/different shocks on the back of the stag to tow a car trailer?
  21. No probs, just give me the heads up so I can pick it up from the workshop
  22. All of the above but I'd need a towball and a trailer before I could hit Collie up.
  23. I would think it means participation in an organised club driver training event..
