  1. Yeah tiesto I was in that carpark too, I could see a massive queue of cars a street over waiting to pull out onto chittering rd. I was standing under a big light and was a little amused that they couldn't see us.
  2. I've driven a few different R33's in my time, from stock to mildy modified. I ended up buying an R32 because I prefer the looks and physical size to the R33. I like smaller cars. Handling wise I couldn't say, the R33's handled well for their size (like the mk4 2jz supra I drove) but I disliked the physical size of both. The handling in my 32 can't really be compared, mine came with coilovers and I haven't driven any with stock suspension. That said, I feel that the 32 is more of a drivers car and coming from a '86 911, just as fun but requiring a little more caution with the gas pedal because the motor is in the front The only downside to the 32 IMO is the lack of lowdown torque.. hence an RB25 conversion is part of the longterm plan
  3. We didn't stay for the brookton bit as the car I was riding in had its' boatspec drag suspension still in.. even the leg out to Bullsbrook was pretty scary.. and the driver of that white 33 with gate that over took us (and the 3 cars behind us) then over took another 5 cars ROUND A BEND was f**kin' crazy! car sounded mean tho
  4. Technically I'm still a Holden man, but I have always held RB motors and skylines in high regard..
  5. You may have sold your soul but buying a 32 will more than make up for it!
  6. We barely managed to get a map but I guess the lack of maps was the reason why there was like 50 cars trying to throw ueys on that sketchy bit of Gt Northen Hwy when we all missed Chittering Road or whatever it was (we even had a map and missed it!). What made me laugh was all the people that came to the church a different way than we did and couldn't see the 20 cars in the dark carpark.. I swear I watched at least 50 cars pulled out and hoon past the church without a clue.. not to mention the Trev's in the v8 commodores lighting it up.. I bet the residents of Bullsbrook loved us
  7. Yeah glad I didn't take my car as my japspec coilovers would NOT have liked those roads at all.. was just too bad my mate got pissed off and decided to bail after the first meet.. freeway leg would have seen some nice runs but he was having major traction issues with the new streetslicks
  8. Wonderful choice of roads on the leg out to Bullsbrook. Also a good way to have a 200 car pileup when everyones trying to throw U-turns.
  9. Alternator still got a belt? sounds like it could be completely shagged though.
  10. Nice work, want to give this a go on my 32 as the piece of alloy we put there the other week is a bit rudimentry Only problem is the zip files didn't work for me
  11. Lots of people on mobiles
  12. Good luck dude, R32's are lots of fun and coming from your fairmont should be a much more spritely drive
  13. Dunno about asap, will be a few weeks till I get my dump/front and I kinda need it to keep driving I do however need some climate control bits (re: pm) so maybe we can work something out
  14. Indeed, that's the dump. I will have a split dump for sale soon off my RB20DET, upgrading to a dump/front pipe in one.
  15. So all the mounts etc are in the right spots, but how much thicker are we talking?
  16. The only people that pull over to let me past are scared old people
  17. Would an R32 GTR radiator fit in an R32 GTSt? plenty of 32R stuff but no gtst..
  18. Speedo needle shaking? mine jumps around when sitting at 100-110kmh
  19. If it was paintballs they should be water soluble. But if it's blue it sounds like Acuball, that shit stains my camos P.S. did you see them do it? because if they used their markers and not just a slingshot they can get in a LOT of trouble. There has been a spate of driveby paintballings over east recently and all of us in the paintball community are keeping an eye out for these bastards that are bringing our sport into disrepute.
  20. My mechanic just bought one of the T51R SPL turbo's.. it's bloody huge! It's going on a 26 stroker, I'll get him to post results once it's built Off the top of my head I think the T51R KAI is an 800hp turbo and the SPL is good for 1000hp O_o
  21. Bah humbug. Seasons greetings I guess, hope everyone gets lots of goodies and I shall be having lots of fun (not) driving across town and back visiting relatives.. how hot is it going to be tomorrow?
  22. Ahh cool.. my catchcan has no hole
  23. Catch can has no breather? does it pipe back into the intake pipe? or have you just got hoses going from the rocker covers to the catch can? When I got my car all the breathing hoses were screwed up, there was a hose from the intake manifold to the rocker cover that was disconnected. This was causing it to pump huge amounts oil out the exhaust at high load/high revs. Once I replaced the hose from the intake manifold it stopped throwing oil out of the exhaust and starting trying to push it out the dipstick and felt like it hit a brick wall over 5000rpm. My guess was that the crankcase was pressurising as the catchcan that came with the car didn't have a breather. To test this I redid all the breathing hoses and ran one just venting to atmosphere.. no more problems Catch can doesn't fill up, oil doesn't come out of the open breather hose and it doesn't try to jump out via the dipstick, just pulls hard to redline Edit: hang on.. you said the catch can doesn't have a breather but in the first post you say there is smoke coming from the catch can??
  24. 160-170rwkw maybe
  25. Yeah but coming from Melbourne that is understandable.. we're from Perth man, big difference
