  2. Believe me, its not by choice i want to sell this baby. But the proposition I have really interest me.   7. Hi All, in the middle of a difficult situation where i have the option to get into a more serious track car. The following car was personally imported by myself 6 months ago and contains heaps of goodies.   8. Hi guys have posted this in the NSW section in a bid to get some local help as well I have been trying to resolve this problem all weekend! (was up to 1am last night) what i have noticed is that all three lights would either randomly come on during a lap or come up immediately upon starting. This problem has progressively gotten worse and on the last meet was in RWD all day. Being so close to Superlap i would like to fix this asap. Seached Altessa Diagnostics on the forums and attempted to follow the instructions to run it and get a fault code but had no sucess. (Trying to ground termal #4 on the diagnostics plug (pink wire?) whilst ignition on and a drive of 30km/h for a min) - this did not make the ABS light flash at all - does anyone have any experience with this - is there something i need to be aware of - also the red flash on the altessa computer seems to remain red all the time. What i did then was address the following - still with no sucess 1. Bleed the 4wd system - ensuring there is correct amount of fluid 2. Check TPS voltage signal being sent of ecu. 3. Changed each wheel sensor 4. Changed G-sensor 5. Went to change 4wd unit and realised that there is a difference with a non-vspec - sourced one this morning 6. Swapped Altessa computers over - no luck. last effort tonight before i burn this is to switch the 4wd units over - Any constructive help with previous experiences or know how will be greatly appreciated. cheers Steve

  11. Hey Mate, Was on radials in the first 2 session bedding in some new pads which i decided to toss. Third session went out with the r-comps and ferodo's - whilst on this hot lap (passenger session) coming out of last turn - stripped 3rd gear - the temporary standard box could not cope with the torque - even after a detune the day before. Thanks mate! racing the car yesterday with 350awkw (Jems dyno) and 3rd gear didnt agree with the sticky re555 in second gear coming out of the last turn shifting to third at 7krpm, as i put my foot into it - it went bang! I wish i could own the 34 under the bonnet holds HKS T04z, hypertune plenum etc absolute sexual Top effort Ben!!!!! the seconds will continue to tumble as you have more fun.   15. I think it certainly was! The weather was absolutely perfect for racing The usual smooth running by circuit club! The rumbling of a Ls1 in a yellow 32 going pass - MAD! Awesome skylines turnout! Made it home in time to watch Underbelly The standard g/box gave way on the last turn on my HOT lap Was on a PB unofficially - Jesson Button eat ur heart out!!

Have not heard much good things about them - but will speak to them Also i am currently running a standard box with no problems whatsoever, but having the luxury of the closer gear ratio and piece of mind that from 1st-4th gear i could throw it in. Its definately something i would like to get back into the car. From the reviews i hear and have looked at the Japs rate this box highly Cheers Steve

Admin - please move to appropriate section if causing disruption but need some quick answers Hi Guys, i am no expert when it comes to this and i have no idea what i am even saying i am purely replicating what a reputable gearbox place in sydney has told me. Apparently the cluster shaft has sheared off the end and it needs replacing as per pics. I have contacted Auto gallery Japan with great frustration because of my lack of japanese and resources i have available. But they do not have this part available off the shelf and would need to make it up and can not give me a esitmated timeframe as to when it could be made by. Hence my question of getting this made locally. A engineer that the gearbox place uses was approached and got back to me with a quote in excess of $2000. I personally found this to be a bit rich and would like some opinions to this or advice as to some possible engineers i can deal with. Just a debrief - car makes 340awkw and shifted nice with this box from 1st to 4th. However coming down the straight going into fifth at EC would always crunch. Got gearbox fully serviced and replaced 5th gear syncro. Upon shifting into 5th for the first time - it was like half a crunch. On lap 6 - 7Krpm and a slighty quicker shift saw the end of 5th gear and reverse. All input would be greatly appreciated. http://www.ag-y.com/690mission.htm Cheers Steve
