Search up BATMBL's thread for dyno graphs on the subject (with larger dump, without catback and different variations). One thing i noticed with the larger dump pipe was that the turbo spool up is a fair bit louder.

Depending on your model R33 (pretty sure its series dependent) there is an idle adjustment knob on the back of the ECU. There will be an idle adjustment screw on the AAC (turn left to increase rpm, right to decrease) aswell. Have a look at the AAC cleaning tutorial for info on how to set the two correctly. Locating the cause and fixing it i have no idea about

haha crazy, so is the car actually your private, self owned car or is it one supplied to you for undercover work to lure the morons who constantly try and race skylines at the lights. Either way its good to hear

is it smoke or steam, next time it happens watch it as it comes out of the pipe, if it disapears after a meter or 2 its steam, if it hangs around in a cloud for a few meters its smoke.

Changed it last night and the car still has a slight misfire (a lot less frequent though, maybe 1 every 20 seconds compared to the 5 every 10 seconds before) but all my other problems are fixed now because the O2 sensor was pretty much dead, was covered in soot and muck and looked like it was the factory one :X
