  1. there is no reason you need to run such a low temp thermostat in a street car combine that with a decent radiator and the thing will never be at propper operating temp.
  2. when i had my manifold and dump made i sent the wastegate too him so it could all be made to fit.
  3. the top radiator pipe should be firm when the system is up to temp, if it is not there is air in the system.
  4. I have an ETM item, he had a fair bit of work lined up when i ordered so there was a bit of a delay and i was more than happy with the customer service provided.
  5. also the mines car has a close ratio gearset with its higher diff ratios.
  6. the R33 system is electronic, check the plugs near the diff.
  7. just cheat a little, high flow it
  8. losen the 4 bolts and adjust it to the left so that the bolts sit roughly in the centre of the slots
  9. no need to reduce the plug gaps, if your coils are good you can (and i do) run 1.1mm all day every day with any sort of power the stock turbo can give you.
  10. he was playing with the CAS then, to tune it properly you should look into an aftermarket ECU.
  11. does it have an aftermarket ecu or are they just advancing the timing via the CAS?

  14. you cant use a standard gear on the stock intake cam, or any designed to work with the VCT gear. it wont physically bolt on.
  15. why do you want to run the stock ecu without VCT?

  19. you mean the macquarie pass west of albion park on the illawarra highway? its fairly steep and has lots of accelerating and braking.
  20. according to the specs (4.7L/m) that nismo state for the gtr pump it will out flow a 044 but what it doesn't say is if that is free flow or with pressure. i just put a 044 intank (R33) and you can barely tell the difference noise wise between it and the stock pump, i used 3 pieces of 25mm fuel resistant PVC tubing opened up and wrapped around the pump and the arm it mounts too.

  24. if you want to find out what the difference is, take it somewhere with a 4wd dyno do a run or two, pull the fuse and do a couple of RWD runs.
  25. By the looks of it you wont be alble to keep the VCT, will be interesting to see the power difference down low, stock cams with vct vs 264's without.
