that rear bar looks so bad i think it gave me cancer

i had this problem with an old car i had, it was a faulty ignition, i would smell electrical stank then it would just go dead. changed ignition barrel and problem went away.

went to sandgate auto elect. and they said that the spring in the switch was warn and was constantly on, this caused the windows motor too burn out. testing my windows at the garage cost $75, all japs have the motor and switch for $150 and im gonna put it in myself $free. . . hazaa. ill try to get some pics when i do the install. later

/sigh i had this problem a few weeks ago and now my window doesnt work,,,happy days so im gonna try and see if there are loose wires or maybe the motor is gone. if i fix it ill let u guys know how

i want to build a drift car , i have a RB20DET that i want o mount in a silvia or 180sx but dont want to buy a car for 10k and chuck a motor in it. are there any places in qld that will import old repairable write offs or something to do the engine swap. i dont want it to be registered, or complied or anything like that, just want a cheap car to work on and nun of the wrecking yards i've spoken to will sell me a car or know where i could get one, anyone have any idieas?

i had this when i got my FMIC installed, but it was because of a hose that goes from the boost sensor to the BOV had melted shut(caused boost spiking so engine was retarding itself). replaced hose and problem is fixed. it was also recommended that i check my plugs,coils, get a ecu or piggy back AFC and get a tune. also if u got a K&N filter they can get oil on ur AFM which can cause issues so u may want to look up the tutorial on cleaning your AFM

how much is it gonna cost to get a remap? i want this done for my r33 but if a new ecu is cheaper then was the point?

i got pulled over the other day by cops for speeding and they check my car out and didnt say anything about the FMIC, but a mate of mine got done because his was too shiny! defected for being a distraction to other motorists, so he took it back when the core had oxidised and it was okay'd? (twats)

i've heard alot of good feedback about the turbotech boost vavles, like they come onto boost quicker and there very accurate. but i used to always get told that you should only use EBC's because they dont spike and you can see wat you've set your psi to wihout haveing to drive it and read ur psi off you boost gauge. id rather the EBC but the cost of them compared to the turbo tech units is a bit much (im still an apprentice) so id get the turbotech boost valve. dont know if that helps at all . . .

i took it back to the exhaust shop and they found a vacum hose that had melted shut and problem seems to have gone, i still wonna take it to a dyno to check a/f ratios and get it tuned.

it seems to be idling fine, and it doesnt happen when i rev the motor when parked, will try the plugs with a diffrent spacing. TY

it was running stock boost before the cooler was installed but have noticed that the boost was higher since the install, can FMIC cause boost spiking? and i hope it isnt the plugs coz i got a set of platinums the last month. so if it is hitting the boost limiter how do i fix it?

hay i got my 600x300 cooler installed yesterday, and since then when every i hit boost it sounds like its hitting the rev limiter. i have to take the car back to the shop but wanted to have a few ideas of wat it may be before i go there. thank u

its for a r33 s1 gtst, 3inch in & outlet, im not really looking for big power at the moment. how much should i expect to pay for an exhaust shop to do the install? and are there any in the north brissy area (around strathpine) that you would recommend?

is there anything wrong with running intercooler pipes from a 600 x 300 x 75 to the stock intercooler piping? will i have to keep the pipes the same diameter as the stock gear until it gets to the cooler core? i dont mind the 180 deg bend but im not sure weather it will cause more lag?

hi guys merry xmas, just woundering if I can connect an new intercooler core to the stock cooler pipes? will there be any problems with air flow,lag etc and if i cant what size piping should i use? *edit - i got a 600 x 300 x 75 with 3inch entry tanks

maybe try putting a resonator in? i have a 3inch exaust with a res and a overly sized 7inch cannon tip and it sound hella good.
