  1. mate i thought you were joking when you said you were putiing it on a hub to see how much power it could make. not a bad result still fell short of the 3076 though hahaha
  2. this i might be interested in steve.
  3. i think you will find they are a top feed high impedance injector.
  4. steve what did you work out for fuel rails?
  5. good work steve thats a great price, same guy i got my bosch ev14's from...
  6. I think you will find there will be alot more to getting the defect off then just changing the bov and boost controller. Your in for a full inspection so dont expect to get it through on the first try, just to give you an idea. The 400r front bar you have the indicators are to close together and they could fail you for that (happened to my old R33). or you could just sell it to me for 2 grand and ill have a cheap track car
  7. A 4inch inlet on a GT30 is only there because its a surge slotted housing.... The actual intake of the turbo would be around 3inches. So i cant see how a 3 inch Z32 air flow meter would be a restriction....
  8. Ok since the Equations didnt come out to well in the first post here is an attachment for them... Maybe the mods ca add to the first post?
  9. All right guys i thought i would put up a little guide to help out with choosing the right size fuel injector. So i see alot of guys asking what size injectors they need to make x amount of power. with a few simple calculations its easy to find out exactly how much injector you will need.. Things you need to know before srating. Fuel going to be used (PULP or E85). Naturally aspirated or forced induction. How many Injectors being used. For this example i will work on 350rwkw, turbo, PULP fuel, 6 cylinder as the target amount of power. Target Injector duty cycle will be 80% and rail pressure 43.5psi First thing we need to know is how many bhp is 350rwkw? 350 multiply by 1.36 = 476bhp. Next we need to work out your B.S.F.C (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption)- How much fuel your car uses per horse power per hour. See Below. (every car is different but this will help as a general rule) Naturally Aspirated PULP = .5 Naturally Aspirated E85 = .62 Forced Induction PULP = .7 Forced Induction E85 = .9 now to find out what size injectors we need!!!! HORSEPOWER X B.S.F.C 476 X .7 ___________________ = __________________ = 69.4LB/HR NO. OF INJECTORS (6) X .8 4.8 (DUTY CYCLE) To convert LB/HR to CC/MIN Multiply by 10.5 = 728cc. so 729cc at 43.5psi rail pressure. so now we have got ourself some 750cc injectors, Now lets work out what sort of cc we can get out of these injectors with a little extra Base rail pressure!!!!!! Considering most injectors will have a max pressure of 100psi we can push these injectors a lot harder then they are currently work. Since we are running forced induction and using a rising rate FPR we have to factor in the boost pressure being used. Lets say 20psi. so 43.5psi(Base Rail pressure) plus the 20psi boost pressure equals 63.5psi. So an extra 10psi Base rail pressure should be no problem for these injectors. (Always calculate the flow rates on the base rail pressure. the rising rate is there to counteract the pressure from in inside if the runners pushing back against the injector) NEW FUEL PRESSURE (50PSI) _________________ = 1.15 FIND THE SQUARE = 1.07 MULTIPLY BY = 802CC ROOT OF THIS NUMBER OLD CC (750) OLD FUEL PRESSURE (43.5PSI) This is a guide only. it is also best to check with your tuner when buying injectors,
  10. 90lb is 950cc and thats at 43.5psi rail pressure. so at 50psi rail pressure they flow 1018cc. thats plenty of injector to convert lb/hour to cc/minute - multiply by 10.5
  11. yeah good call...... the only that you be possible is if you had the hand brake on to load it up
  12. they are a awesome injector. my car idles perfect. the tuner spent a bit of time getting the lag times right but thats not my problem
  13. I actually got these injectors... bosch ev14'ds No height adapter needed they bolt straight in.. For the plugs i took the injectors to these guys and they sourced them for me $11each from memory auto service solutions they will need to be solered in to you harness...
  14. seriously though, your engine wont last forever making that sort of power and will need a rebuild before too long... keep that in mind when choosing your turbo.
  15. yeah agreed... when OP said low boost he meant really low .75Bar If it was my car i would put the GTX35 on in. then see how much boost it can hanle might even make 400awkw
  16. In the OP he stated the engine is a EZ30 (3L), but yeah it wont be an ideal set up but will give the numbers he wants and thats about it...
  17. yeah thats injector you want... i run those injectors in my R34. but you will need to try and source the connecting plugs.
  18. I think you will struggle to find anything that will make the power you want at such low boost. it could be done but would need to be up around the GT40 range. but the lag would out way the benefit of making 300awkw imo. What about a GTX3582 twin scroll rear and 1.06 it should keep the heat out of it and will close to your power goal on E85..
  19. well i think you have three options avalible to you 1. buy one of those kits off ebay and hope its the right one and all bolts up sweet 2. buy a neo top feed rail and those bosch injectors which "should" all match up and bolt up im not 100% on this only about 90%, but i have read that the NEO rail bolts on to the 25DET runners 3. buy your self a FPR pump the base pressure up to 55-60psi which should do the job and a retune and more boost. and with the money you save you can spend it on the tyres you will be burning out cheers
  20. since your using willall just give martin a call and tell him what you have and he will tell you if he can work with it or not... and considering that RH9 made 680rwkw with 1000cc injectors (with s#*&t loads of rail pressure of course) i think he will be able to get 330rwkw out of yours no worries but if you do go the Bosch this is what i use bosch ev14
  21. are you still running standard rail pressure? and what are your injector duty cycle at? the reason i ask is there is a car on here with a GT35 sard 850's on E85 making 430rwkw so its not crazy to think your 740's will be up to the job
