  1. yeah that will be fine. just set the over boost warning so you know if its boosting over say 12psi
  2. its best to just start low and keep adding more till you get the boost your after. i had my gain set to 10 which didnt spike. the boost at a guess will need to be set around 35%. 20% will be a good starting point
  3. mate check out the instruction manual. should be one in the link below if you dont have one. http://www.xspeed.com.au/manuals.php

    E85

not real sure what the knock levels are as i dont have a hand controller on my power fc. if adrian has time tomorrow we will put the wide band on and check AFRs and knock. i really cant see it being a problem though. Caltex said they were going to make E70-E85 on a seasonal basis. so E70 in the colder months and E85 in the warmer.

    E85

na its the fuel. even smells rich, for the OP if your serious about running E85 have a read through this there is great info in there http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gu...85-t239271.html

lol. adrian my car is running ALOT richer now on the caltex fuel. evens starts easy in the mornings now so i know its fairly rich.
  7. jrm 182rwkw is about what i would expect from a car with you mods on an R34. I think willalls dyno was reading fairly true on that dyno day. my car made 327rwkw which is about what i would expect from the boost level i was running (only 20psi). People are just use to running on "happy" dynos...
  8. the difference that you feel between a stock r33 and r34 has to do with the size difference in turbos rather then cams.
  9. i got a stock ecu you can borrow
  10. so martin what is the difference in percentage between mainline and dyno dynamics?
  11. I'd get the .82 again if I was to buy another turbo. Response difference between .63 and .82 would only be a couple of hundred rpm max. And your going down the E85 route so the better flowing rear will make a world of difference when you start running higher boost levels. Come to think of it. Just get the 1.06
  12. hypergear is a business trader. thus complaints should be taken up with him via PM or the mods. not a public forum imo.
  13. that thing is pure porn..... vu is there any chance you can put mine on youtube please
  14. i think he has a auto r34 gtt. as for the other stuff i cant comment because i dont know.
  15. thanks to the guys for organizing the day. was great to see RH9 on the dyno that thing is crazy. well done to the team at willall for putting on a great day they got through the cars fairly quick so it was far from boring.
  16. reason i ask is volk34 had his car on the same dyna pack dyno as you a couple weeks back and made 210kw. then today at the SAU-SA dyno day at willals his car made 162rwkw. thats a 48kw difference between his 2 dyno runs sorry to use your car as an example volk
  17. simon have you got any plans to put your car on a chassis dyno to see how many rwkw it is making. i see your 360 kw was done on a hub.
  18. Car is now ready for the DD after a touch up tune thanks to Adrian (180or200). Feels like it should spin up 200rwkw no worries
  19. hmmm this is what i get. E85 18.6l per 100km. 335rwkw. BP98 13.2l per 100km 275 rwkw. the way i see it is, if you want to save money on fuel a skyline is not the best car for it. but for the OP the only real way to find out whats going on is to put it on a wideband 02 sensor and see the the cruise AFRs are.
