Guys, I would like to replace my ageing shock mount bushes at the rear with some polyethelyne ones, but i have been told only Nismo or Nissan will supply them. It is the bush that connects a strut to the bottom of the coilover. Has anyone replaced these? and can you give me some rough prices or contacts? Thanks in advance.

Sloane, I took my car to a long and established shop to have a tune. 2 weeks and under 1000 kms later, the engine had blown a head gasket due to detonation. Unfortunately, i signed a waiver before i handed the car over to them, still... thanks alot. When i had the car running again, I had Mark install and tune a Nistune for me... fantasitic, took the time with it, let me sit in the car while he was tuning and he expalined everything that he was doing and why he was doing it. Mark was the only person that Jack from KC's engine dynamics recommended. great work. and like stevequerty said had the car back on time. No talk about having it for another day... Adam

Well, thinking back on it... only the part between Wyong and Toukley sucks. I cannot comment on the rest of it. Lived there for 15 years of my life and I grew up with people that inhabit the area. I can tell you now that it has left a lasting impression on me. As for the over-crowding - if only the council upgraded the infrastucture before opening up all the land releases...

Hahaha, good point there. I used to live on the coast, although public transport was a joke, there was 2 sets of traffic lights between tuggerah and doyalson... it had its bad and good points. Now the place sucks. Bogans driving around in their commodores... i am glad i escaped while i had the chance. As for the F3, well... i find it you sit on 100k/hr you don't have a problem at all. until there is an accident.

You know what... with all of the cars getting around now with the black wheels and the chrome rim, it seems to be too common. Slims car stands out with the fluro orange, but that is too much for me. I might stick with the blue for a bit and when i get sick of that, i'll choose some other colour... maybe that "way too expensive" shadow chrome? as seen here? No, no... thats just alloy.

Shannons told me that 3rd party property is only for the property i damage in my rampages... as far as i am concerned, if i have an at fault accident, why should the person that is on the recieving end suffer for my incompetence? My damage i can deal with as it will teach my a valuable lesson, which i am sure what has happened to the main charcter in this thread... If only our friend took out 3rd party property, it would have been $300 well spent?

I agree with the general consensus, BMW guy should put it through insurance, at least he knows that the repair has a "warranty". I had a taxi T-bone me when he ran a red light about 5 years ago. The taxi company wouldn't put it through insurance and as i only had 3rd party property Shannons wouldn't help me out. Captain Taxi decided to make a claim nearly 2 years after the acco and i finally got my money. Although i did put 10k on top of the claim, Zurich paid me out the agreed value...

I had a set of gold Drifteks on before, but i found that 2 of them had cracks in one of the spokes... A friend had these lying around with 2 tyres on the back wheels(only 20% tread left) and i had a donation of some front tyres. The question is, should i keep the blue colour? or have them painted? Any comments would be greatly appreciated... Adam

What i did when i got my bike rego was; i worked out letters i could substitute with numbers (not L3375P34K.. just things like T and 7...) Went to www.crosswordsolver.org and put in the letters i could substitute. Easy... i had sooo many to choose from. I eventually ended up with VOM17.
