  1. You could achieve the same response using the same turbos. You don't have to have a MINES ECU either, but, a decent aftermarket one would be a must and then of course it'd need a good tune. There'd be other mods involved, of course, but to get the response like that - It's basically down to your turbo and ECU tuning. CAMS also help the cause as well, from what i know.
  2. Ok, Thanks =]
  3. Cefiro's are still in production and are still named exactly that. Models after the A31 (A32 and current model A33) were sold to Australia with a "Maxima" badge but the same car was still sold in Japan with the Cefiro badge. Spec levels were different, but basically the same car. The A31 Cefiro is the last of the rear-wheel-drive Cefiros. A31 Is the 1988 - 1991 model, which is rear wheel drive. There are also some later varients (1990-1991) which are all wheel drive ATTESSA. All were auto, bar a few later models which were sold as 5sp manuals. Factory manuals are very rare, so if you want a Manual one you're gonna have to find one which has been converted. An easy conversion for it to change to manual is to whack a SR20DET in there, with S13 manual box, however you cannot import SR20DET converted ones to Australia as far as i know. To convert to manual they usually use the R32 GTSt gearbox. A32 Is the first model Australia saw. It is front wheel drive and very different from the A31 models. A33 is the current model sold here in Australia. It is still sold in Japan as Cefiro also. Prices on Cefiro's vary alot. Expect 12k for one landed and registered on the road, give or take alot. It really varies greatly. Regards, Ryan
  4. The soundcard isn't a USB one by any chance is it?
  5. Sub is now sold. Regards, Ryan
  6. WTF? No i agree with Pete, cut him some slack. You could've simply PM'd him if you were suspicious, instead of both you and nick pouncing on him waiting to go in for the kill. FYI: IMEI numbers are the serial codes which are unique to every phone. It's on the box (which Mr. Cluk showed in the pictures he posted also) And it's stored in the phone. It cannot be changed without the right illegal software and people who know alot about what they're doing. IMEI numbers are stored on the Nokia database, and as soon as a phone is reported stolen, that IMEI number is stored on the Nokia site where people have public access to check whether the phone they are buying is stolen or not. Of course, to alter the IMEI number on a stolen phone, the box would have to be opened. As you can see the box is unopened - therefore it is clear the phone is legit. There is no need to go and be rude to somebody and question them like that. Also i'd like to mention -- Don't be stooges guys. Nothing pisses me off more personally when i'm selling something and somebody offers me next to nothing for it. It's a waste of everybodys time, and you can't in your right mind expect them to sell the thing for such a small amount. As Ultim8DTM5 mentioned, the RRP on these phones is around $999. So keep that in mind when bidding also. Mr. Cluk. Sorry for interupting your thread; i felt this needed to be addressed. Good luck with your sale. Regards, Ryan
  7. The search button is your friend. Use the force! So yeah, do a search. This topic has been covered many a time; you'll find all you need to know by doing a search =]
  8. I think they're ugly. They look cheap and horrible. I saw them on MIZ.33T's R33 @ SAS at the ROH stand and they looked YUCK. I definately wouldn't consider them - just my personal opinion.
  9. Bump $120 firm, Sydney buyers only. Please e-mail or PM if interested.
  10. I'm on iiNet 512/128 ADSL I reccomend it. Optus cable is good and all, but what's the use of having a fast connection if you can't put it to good use (stupid small downlaod quotas) my iiNet plan has 6GB off peak 6GB on peak quota - and i get 52-53kb/sec on overseas and local servers most of the time which is plenty fast. For $79.95 a month it's an excellent deal. Oh and when you get slowed for going over ur download quota, it slows you to 72k speed. Which usually gets you around 8kb/sec as well -- so overall a good deal.
  11. Hey Guys & Girls, Decided to upgrade so i want to sell my near new 8310. It's around 3 months old. It hasn't been dropped or anything, it's in as new condition minus very very very fine marks on the case screen area which every fone get's that has been in a pocket. U cant notice them unless u squint at it under certain light on an angle - so basically unmarked. There is also some very very fine marks around the very edge of the chrome on the back of the case but its basically unnoticeable. This is all from being in my pocket. Charger is unused (used one from previous nokia phone) handsfree is unused but has been taken out of its packet. Retail is still AU$515-619 as listed on imobile.com.au price guide - I will sell for $300. Prefer Sydney buyers. my email is [email protected] - contact me there or PM. Pictures can be provided via e-mail though they are low quality (crap camera) Cheers, Ryan
  12. I went to the website, there is different variants of it. Some have 14" XGA screen, 15" XGA screen, and others 15" SXGA screen. There are different processors for it too - which is why i asked. I want to know which model it is exactly - cause if its got the 15" SXGA screen i may be interested. Cheers, Ryan

    The Next GTR R35

I think the driveline will basically be a turbo, 4WD version of a 350Z.
  14. what size screen? is it SXGA or is it only XGA? it's pentium III processor right?? reason for sale? Interested.
  15. Didnt end up selling the box as it didn't fit in the guys boot. $170ono including box - offers?
  16. I will consider COD if a 25% deposit is given to ensure you're serious about buying it.
  17. box is most likely sold so $150 for sub by itself ----- Offers?
  18. JL Audio 15W0-8 Subwoofer Rundown on basic specs: It's 15" It's rated at 150WRMS It's single voice coil It's 8ohm It's in a sealed 2'cu box which isn't carpeted, but painted black. Bought it a bit over 12 months ago now for $290, to use on my home stereo system. I've hardly used it, it's never been really pushed, hasn't had near its peak power put into it and is in new condition basically. Never had a problem with it, and it sounds pretty good too. Only reason i'm selling is because i don't use it. I'd like $180 for it, with the box. I'm open to offers though, if anybody is interested. Can post pics if needed. If nobody wants to buy it i'm happy to keep it E-mail is [email protected] Prefer Sydney Buyers Only. Cheers, Ryan
  19. Yo, Dunno if anybody here would want it but i'll try anyways, never know. I never use it - so i may as well sell it. I've got a Sony CFDS28 portable CD player here, it's about 12 months old but i've used it probrably 15 times since i've had it (makes me wonder why i bought it). It's in as new condition, except for a tiny hole in corner of the right speaker cloth (talking like 4mm by 4mm - hardly noticeable). I don't have the box or the user manual any more either, but you don't really need it. They still sell for $235 new (RRP) Will sell for $100. Click here for details and specifications And this is what it looks like (the bluey looking plastic is actually a darkish grey) I can put a pic of the actual thing if anybody is interested but my camera is shit so no point unless really neccessary. My E-mail if you're interested is [email protected] Prefer Sydney buyers only. Cheers, Ryan
  20. well if they do that i'll just whack a SR20DE in the cefiro til im off my P's easy done stupid RTA this better be a load of BS
  21. It'll cost you around $1200 to get it engineered and registered..... You need to make some minor modifications to it but the whole process is kinda simple
  22. what model 4door you talking about? R32, 33, 34? R31?
  23. Nice pics.... Looks like you had fun frank
  24. Boost spiking like that on a stock turbo will not only damage the turbo itself, but will take it's toll on the car's fuel system and other bits. Not good at all.
