well my opinion is newspapers/media over-exhadurate.. manufactuerers over-exhadurate.... therefore, the fuel is probrably not the best, but not the worst either.

are u sure its stock? im pretty sure r33 gts25t suspension isnt adjustable.. If it was on there when you bought the car - doesnt mean its stock!

here its a bit dodgy but ill fix it later.

There's a better, more professional way to do this.. You take the old parcel shelf out, and get some 12mm MDF. Trace the old parcel shelf, cut it out. make sure it fits, and make any adjustments. then, what you need to do is to cut out three different sized spacers. Same shape as the 6x9, cut out three each being about 1cm smaller in diameter. Remember to cut out the center to fit the 6x9s on each of the rings. Once you've cut the three spacers out per speaker, glue them together with a strong wood glue, and allow to dry. When you're glueing them together, do it so that they are even around the sides, if you get what i mean. Once the glue is dry, get out your sandpaper and an electric sander or similar, and sand around the sides of the three spacers you glued togetheruntil they're smooth, on an angle around the sides like / but try to make them a little rounder. once you do this, make sure the 6x9's fit properly. If they fit, get yourself some fibreglass resin and do a few coats on each pod. Once they're complete, glue them to the pacel shelf you just made, over the old speaker holes. Now you just need to cover it. You can either: ~Cover it with vinyl ~Get it professionally vaccuum covered in vinyl ( i reccomend this ) ~Cover it with carpet, which you can buy from jaycar for $30 a bag. It's like felt carpet, not thick carpet. Once covered, you've got a new parcel shelf which looks factory to most eyes, but with nice raised pods for your 6x9s. Hope you could understand that, im not good at wording how-to's

Tell me a budget (even if it's long-term) And, how much SQ/SPL you want your system to have ie: 60/40 SQ/SPL etc What does that mean? SQ = Sound Quality, SPL = Sound Pressure Level (How loud it is) With SPL comes less sound quality usually. 60/40 is a good comprimise usually. As i said, tell me the above figures (Budget and SQ/SPL) and i'll reccomend you a couple of set-ups. US Audio, Infinity and JVC are good brands, but they're not the best. So i'll reccomend you a few different systems once i get figures. (ie: one using mainly the brands you can get cheap, one using a bit of them brands, and another not using them brands) Ryan

Yah i think that was it. You know why i stopped reading Hot4's and HPI? 90% of the tech in there is complete bull****. I'd sit there and read it, and then as soon as i'd mention something i read to somebody else they'd tell me it's complete bull****. It's embarassing when that happens, therefore i stopped reading it! Hmm what's a good one..... Oh yeah about the S13 black tops. It said something about they're the S14 engine, they're bloody not! argh, that was embarassing. I was going on to somebody about them being better, coz they've got the S14 engine, only to be told that it's the same engine.. All S13's have S13 engines, period. Even the 1998 model ones. So there you go. Forums are a better place to read tech it seems. Less bull****, and it's free.

How about we organise one sometime mid-august? I think maybe we could get some more clubs involved. I could get some people from Autostyle along, Bayside imports might come along, and we'll see who else wants to come. Depends who you like i spose. SilviaNSW, Impact AutoSports, Datnet, Xzibit, DtmPower, few others. I think it'd be good to organise a big cruise though we've gotta seriously consider some things to make sure it's organised heaps well.. We need a meeting point which is easy to get to, with PLENTY of parking, and where traffic wont be a major issue. We need contact numbers, UHF radios, or maps, some way of keeping everybody together and knowing where they're going exactly. Then we need somewhere nice to meet in the end, where once again there's enough parking space and traffic won't be a major issue. I'm not too good with directions etc, so somebody else can organise it, but like i said make sure we get it right! I know SilviaNSW have CB's, not sure about any other clubs. Spose we can just exchange mobile numbers or something, just so if anyone gets lost we can round them up. Police attention seems to be a big issue lately also, so we'd want a destination/route that's not going to take us past areas where police are known to be plicks, right? And also i think it'd be good to make sure we don't bring along anybody (ie: other clubs known to do silly things) so that it doesn't end up giving our club a bad name. Just my stupid thoughts Ryan

I don't know much about clutches, but i'll reply anyway. You say you smell burning whenever you go hard? Well it could be your brakes, if you're braking heavily or alot when you're going hard. If your clutch is not working good, as far as i know it will slip alot, and that's how you can tell if you need a new one. Exidy clutches are supposed to be a good brand also. That's all i know Ryan

Well then it looks like a group buy is not needed. It was just an idea, and i didn't think we'd save that much anyway. If the Digitalk ones are any good quality/range/etc wise then i guess it'd be an idea for us to get them whilst they're cheap! As for the channels.. Use 34, cause we all know they're the best!

Well, a while back, about 8 months ago, a friend was looking for a new filter for his heavily modified S14a, and did some reasearch on the filters He was looking at -Apexi -Trust -K&N -HKS he read around, and found on a few forums people complaining about the Apexi's. From what i've heard, they're a good filter but dont last too long. I may be wrong, but i only know what i read! And from what he found, the K&N Were beter, especially for the money. K&N are certainly loud, and i dont think i've read any complaints about them.....

do you think, perhaps, we could put the kb limit for avtars up a bit? even if i link it offsite, it wont let me put up my avtar coz its 90kb this is my avtar took me ages to make, and then i try to upload and the limit is only 2000bytes! argh! so i cut half the frames out(there were like 20 more pics) and optimised it and its only 90kb... so do you think we could perhaps get a LITTLE bit more space for avtars like 100kb im sure most peoples avtars will only be like 5kb n stuff neway..... or put the pixels down to 80, and 100Kb or something pweeeeeeeeeezzz........

now u tell me too bad theres no focal or PG in my planned system heh....... guess the products...... tho i dont know if ill get that deck still, coz its the old model. might get something not as chunky, with mp3 player... but then again im sq junkie and mp3 = not very good quality.... hrmmmmmm ill look around when the time comes
