yeah they didnt say anything about cutting it, i had to do that back when i had the r34. Only the positioning of it. Also im pretty sure its a 45 degree angle from a particular distance aswell e.g. red light camera. So im sure i would pass.....

Got pulled over the other day and the cop fined me $215 and took away 3 points for having my front number plates mounted on the side of the car. (Still clearly visible) I wasn’t speeding or doing anything wrong just trying to find a car park. Now because of this I have also lost my license which is B@# S^%. What’s the law on this topic??? I’ve tried to do a search. I thought you can have it mounted anywhere as long as it’s visible from a 45 degree angle. I see cars with it mounted on the side every day. The cop said I have to have it mounted directly in the middle. Is he right? What should I do? Anyways have included pics of the number plate.
