R33 GTR 140K Racing around the track and blew the original turbo's at the end of session 1. Probable lack of oil, need to put in the extra litre next time. Running about 1 bar boost, cam gears about 240rwkw.

Probably run for ever if left as stock, no one does that. You can have a look in various threads but here's a few things that go wrong with them. 1. The original turbo needs replacing if at high KM's, they tend to break 2. The gearbox is strong but the changes of gear in 4th and 5th can be rough 3. The clutch will burn out if you use the car for power launches :-)

Yes any "club" needs to be fully inclusive. Having some experiance organising formal clubs, I believe we can come up with a way to minimise the effort while enjoying the benefits. Would love to have another female skyline driver in attendance, it tends to balance out the views. And I'm sure someone could assist with your technical question. Cheers Jon

Hi all, The last pizza night organised by Veilside was great and I unfortunately missed it. However since you guys seem like such a great bunch of guys I'm addressing the situation but organising another one. The invite is open to anyone who wants to come. The location will be my heated entertaining room in Kambah and $5 each for those who want pizza should suffice, please bring drinks. If you want to bring your own food that's fine by me. Start time 6.30 for 7 pm. Feel free to bring DVD's to watch. I would like to make a special request for those people who are interested in coming up with, and putting some ideas on paper, in relation to what an ACT Skyline club may look like and what we as owners want out of any club. I have spoken to many regulars and have received some very positive responses and ideas, I would love to hear from anyone who has an idea. I have spoken to Shell and am hoping she can attend. Partners/GF's are highly encouraged to attend as my GF would love to have some conversations that don't necessarily relate to cars. Please reply to this thread and I'll PM you exact location. I have room for about 10 cars in my driveway and I can use next door's off street parking for another 3 or so. The rest will be on street parking.

Well as an owner I'd say the majority of the review is accurate. It's not particularly against the GTR.

Dam it's what I've been considering but no way it will fit around my exhaust. Looking at the design I'd say it would only be safe for a box trailer, but thats all I wanted.

Challenge for those in the stereo know. I am after a in built GPS with flip out screen + CD etc. Pioneer make as good one but it is 2 DIN size. I need one only 1 din size. I've found Ebay no name ones, but map updates are most important adn so is quality. Any suggestions?

Talking about bikes, I was blown off today, and I was on the bike!! Bloody new HSV's with traction control, didn't think she'd go me, left the lights easy found the car 2 lengths infront of me and when I finally get into the good rev range the front just lifts and continues to lift. GF stuts clutching on harder and harder so I throttle off. Last time I try and keep up with the GF on the back of the bike! Wait till I'm on the bike myself or have the GTR back, you devilish blonde..

Well I went the 2860-5's with a Power FC +BC from Croyden. Get the car back next week and hope I don't lose all that bottom/midrange. Strange that CRD won't do a dyno run showing RPM's only km/h.
