Thanks mate. No problems ran well very clean very straight good paint no dents. Even the interior was good. It was defected tho. But if I spent less then a 1000 it would get put back on the road. Bought it for 3900

Yes i know this has been covered and i have read. But i do have a couple questions about it. The cars a series 2 r33 gtst track only Firstly, how much weight differance is there between the front gaurds of a gtst Vs the Ali GTR gaurds? If i run bonnet pins (on a carbon aftermarket gtr bonnet) would i need to use/ want the bonnet latch? Will there be any big problems with fitting and lining up if i dont use a reo bar at all? I am in the middle of ordering a Trust Gracer front bar to suit GTR, it doesnt have a grill so a standard GTR grill is the go correct? the series 2 head lights wont fit this bar / gtr bonnet correct? When i buy GTR gaurds they should come with gaurd risers? or is this something that ust be bought after? And can anyone recommend any places that have decent quality carbon boots and bonnets Cheers

Im looking to start stripping the sound deadner off this long weekend. Apart from dry ice, is there any other ways of doing it? Heat gun and a scrapper work??

Hi all, Well I caught the track / drags / hill climb bug! And no matter how hard I tried it wouldn’t go away. So instead of wrecking my 33 GTR I decided to find a cheap alternative. Yes i know people have said im doing it wrong, track the GTR and use the GTST as the daily but my thinking is the gtst wont be as expensive to fix and maintain as the GTR. I came across a midnight purple series2 R33 40th anniversary that had been defected. Very neat, very straight and almost standard. Even the interior was very neat. What it was defected for was rubbish, almost too nice to destroy. Here it is next to its bigger brother I forgot to take a pic of the inside before i started to strip it. Going to strip it back to metal and once i can work out what and where half the wires run to, rewire the rear of the car. Pics of starting to strip And now the mess in my shed! I decided the 40th anniversary front bar was in way to good of nick to destroy! Hadnt been cut no cracks etc. So ive removed it. Unsure of what bar to put back yet Heres her currently with her face off And thats where im up to after a week and a bit of owning it. The short term plans are to finish stripping the interior, get rid of the sound deadener and try and work out what the wiring does running down the sides of the cars interior. Then remove most and re wire etc. Something tells me im going to hate doing it / getting it to work at all! And winter can feel free to piss off!

Hey all does anyone know where i can get a gracer kit from? Also any pics of the rear of the gracer kit as i can never find any? Also im having trouble sourcing a carbon fibre boot, not the flush type?

Just makes it really tough. Im happy for people to sell copies or fake items for half the price. Just like people copy bride seats but they make people aware they are fake.

Yep the bar is plastic. Hasnt been cut at all Fits perfect no cracks breaks etc Has gutter rash on the bottom of the bar but again not cracked or broken More pics
