  2. poor guy sorry to hear the bad news! Will keep my eyes open mate! some heads up! Also, as obvious as it seems, i highly recommend having ur alarm tested every month or so, just so that u can be sure that ur alarm is still working and offcourse for some piece of mind. i mean it only takes a few seconds to arm the car and test the usual entry points seeing if it goes off and all. cheers
  3. sorry for the off topic, just wondering, besides the differences in weight? what other differences are there between the r32, r33 and r34 gearbox. like are there any differences in the look of each of the three gearboxes. because i want to know how can u tell what gearbox u have? Pictures of each gearbox would be great and highly appreciated. cheers!
  4. true...scum indeed! thanks for the heads up! will be keeping an eye out next time i go there. does anyone know their rego number? report it to the cops maybe?
  5. not sure if this is clutch slippage...but i assume it is.. the car is r33gtst '95 with 100,000km+ on the clock the car still has the stock clutch the problem is: the car pulls in second gear if you dont "forcefully" accelerate , then if i stamp it abit......it cleanly revs to about 5-7 '000 revs then as it pulls again, the revs drop!!! Clutch SLIPPAGE??? Notice the clutch is getting softer these days 3rd through to 5th Gear definitely not pulling as well starting to happen in 2nd first gear still ok could it be something else...other than the clutch? any ideas? assuming its the clutch, do you guys know what type do these skylines use push, pull? thanks in advance kind regards,
  6. Merry xmas everyone! and wishing everyone a happy new year. to all those on the roads, drive safely! kind regards,
  7. Hey mate, have you got anymore of those Smoke series boost gauges $39. i assume its the one in the first attached pic? just a question..how much do they read up to? i assume 30psi? and for anyone who have used them before...... are they accurate? kind regards,
  8. hey mate, gotta say thats one sweet ride you got there!! to be honest with ya, i never really liked the earlier model lines, but after seeing your clean example i must say you've rekindled the passion. Nice work there mate.
  9. its bullS*%# when import drivers are getting pulled over for the minute offences and yet hoons filled with adrenalin, drugs, alcohol whatever are driving recklessly..tailgating...overtaking in the left lane...etc.. and dont give two hoots about other road users. where is the justice in that? anyways getting back on topic, saw quite a few nice lines down at the bay last night, though just a reminder to all about the defect stations down there...the men in blue must be licking their lips when they hear the Rb purring in and around the vicinity... watch out guys and girls!
  10. hey, i have a friend whose gone through them (jspec) to buy some of his imports...experienced no dramas at all. awesome customer service as well... worth it! if your not wanting to source the car yourself thumbs up to jspec my 2cents
