I see them up there from time to time and quite cheap too if you dont like the look wont be a costly exercise. Did this, the contacts seemed very clean, pretty much spotless, still had no luck. Hehe thanks for that, ill pick some up after work in the morning. Seems to be both. When you pull the button for the window to come up... it moves a tiny bit and is stopped by the seals, it only does this for the passenger side control not the drivers side, but when you try make it go down... nothing at all. Ill try the sandpapering again and get some contact cleaner and have another go. If no luck i guess i will hitup a car electrician! (im sure i sent u a PM lee, ur the lazy one!!) Hey guys Firstly excuse my complete lack of knowledge when it comes to things like this, but here i go neway. Okay in my 260 S1 the front passenger window hasnt been able to go down since i got it back from compliance, (it worked previously when i took it for a spin with the dealer plates on) and to be honest i have been having to much fun to really care all too much But friends have started to complain etc so i thought i would try get it fixed. The window seems to go up with the switch thing but wont go down (no response at all). The compliance guy said that usually its just some "moisture" in the up/down switch connection, so i took them off WD40ed (was this stupid?) them let em dry out well and put them back on.... but it didnt work, i did this to the drivers side control area aswell while i was in the mood. I took off the door panel and had a look at the little cloth bits that guide the window and they seemed to be all straight, as said in the window height adjustment thread in the DIY section. Just seeking your wisdom! Will i be able to fix this myself without breaking things (which im prone to do ) or should i just give up and take it to a car electrician? I doubt it would cost much, any ideas? Cheers carter

Hey guys Just a quick question, I was wanting to find out a roundabout price for the stock Autech rims from a series 1. As you could imagine i cant find any for sale so was wondering what these would go for? No scratches and still with the lil stagea caps on them. Ive had the 260 for a few weeks and all i have been gettin from cops are thumbs up :laughing-smiley-014: I was at a set of lights last tuesday night after work minding my own business, and an angry xr8 driver pulled up beside me and started abusing "jap cars" after looking around i decided to show him what my nice soccer mum car can do and pulled away... come over a hill at about 120 into a RBT, i was in front so i comp breaked down and was waved through, the xr8 driver was immediatly taken to the side and was asked to leave the vehicle, was a good chuckle for me while watching my rear view mirror go the family wagon!!

so when is the next QLD meet? :D official stagea owner now

wow i didnt know there was an auto folding mirror function!!! Is it like a button or? Should set it up so when you go over 100km they tuck in for less drag

bit of an update... i just got home from finally driving my stagea.... and wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww needed new pants PERFECT car gave it a bit of a fang with the dealer plates on, goes into compliance shop tomorrow morning.. ohh today keep you posted and more pics wen its registered and im driving it 24/7 cheers carter
