  1. Made a Revolution Racegear run this morning. New helmet, fire extinguisher and a 4 way, 3 point Sabelt harness. Not the big buck stuff but should work well enough for my purposes. Getting stoked for this....
  2. Thought very hard about getting them as I'm a fan of Nismo anything but ended up buying the bars from the SK Group Buy because they are adjustable which gives me some ability to tune the suspension. They do cost more.
  3. If thre is going to be a practice session, pls let me know.
  4. a little time warp action
  5. Grass?
  6. Suspect I'd like this but right now I'm spending way too much on the car....have to think about it
  7. What? No Hooters And I so love the (chicken) breasts there....
  8. I'll be at the track day. First one.
  9. Hot looking women could dress in overalls, also those big jacks, those sliding boards you lay on, cant think what they're called..... ok - so maybe that is a bit sexest - but it is a car show....
  10. Look - I realize were a long way from Mexico so I'm feel it is my duty as the sole representative of North America and past resident of that country to point out to you several facts: 1) They only put worms in sh*t tequila to sell it to tourists 2) No one eats the worm 3) No one does shots of good tequila 4) Tequila must be followed by a beer chaser
  11. That would be cool. I'll be travel pretty light so I expect I'll have room for gear I'm light in the tool department (I'm an optimist). Sounds like a couple of us are coming from the north shore - I'm in Cammeray right off the freeway and not far off of Military Road - happy to use that as a meeting point.
  12. Right now it is me in my car alone so I can probably find a bit of space. Would be happy to give someone a lift as 7 hours in a car doesn't sound like much fun. Thats really streching the ipod to its limits.
  13. If there is still space I'm back in.
  14. hummm I thought I was wearing my glasses Monday, my vision must really suck
  15. save enough tires to get home?
  16. They were amazing. Gotta love the R31s & the hachis as well. Looked like total fun to me - especially the early morning runs when the track was wet. Also gotta love a guy drifting in a station wagon.....
  17. good idea - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=163171 - Join us!
  18. Sorry mate, There were a bunch of us there watching as well as the guys driving. As someone new to the group I can tell you it is a very friendly group to hang with. It can be intimidating for shy people at first going up to a bunch of strangers but everyone is very cool with new people. If you are a bit shy, just let us know you are coming and someone will arrange to meet you and introduce you around. Tim
  19. They have Hooters (the Restaraunt) in Sydney - Damm - next thing you'll have NASCAR here....
  20. I bot a car from a guy who had a dealer warranty (he bot it from JapLink) and it was transferrable. It gave me a certain level of comfort when buying the car. I did need to have the dealer do all the work to maintain the warranty, First oil change was at a small premium to the price at other shops I checked but not stupidly so. The JapLink guys were very decent to deal with. The bigger issue was that vehicles are excluded from coverage if it is a "Vehicle modified beyond manufacturers specifications". I'd assume that covers most anything except cosmetic items.

  22. See y'all at drift day.
  23. Spending a lot of time chatting about brakes, tires, turbos, etc. isn't always the best way to develop social skills. An amazing number of women are not entralled with a discussion of which brake pad is better on the track (my wife being one but she's already married to me so has to put up with a decent amount of it - gererally responding "how much will this cost?"). Some women would even talk about buildings and the bridge if asked about a Skyline. Those amazing women like the ones you find on here (Jess, Liz, et al...) are definately the exeception - not the rule. So I guess we have to do all we can to help one of our own attract unsuspecting women into the fold.
  24. pouring again....like a f'n rainforest
  25. My car is in the shop and I don't get it back until 3 today....really makes it worse - sure I could be doing something (not sure what - airbox, cooling plate...) in the garage working on the car.....
