  1. One more comment like that and you're walking to DECA....
  2. I parked next to a Grey R32 GTR at Palm Beach yesterday. Saw it leave but didn't see who was inside.
  3. For the geographically challenged among us - where is Phillip Island?
  4. You never offer to work on my car
  5. I'm in.
  6. Wouldn't know where I could get a set of Nismo ones for my R33 GTR???? Heard they quit making them
  7. I'll check but I assume 8:30-9:00 - figure a 2 hour drive that mean we leave Sydney 6:30-7:00? I'm just north of the bridge so I can either go across thur the city and catch the M5 by the airport or around and catch it M7 down.
  8. even if it has butt ugly red wheels it's welcome there is a class for "cars not worthy but owners who like to hang around skylines" or something like that...
  9. The part is titled well - the purpose it to catch oil from the engine. Usually not a problem unless you are on the track. Won't improve your performance but will keep you engine bay cleaner. Not a waste of money if you ever plan to take you car on a track.
  10. The timing thing is a bummer but it will still be a good day. You guys want to meet up somewhere and criuse down together?
  11. Someone just bot a great car and driving lesson - how good is that!
  12. Some of us local might be keen to catch up which you guys and go watch
  13. The number of "show cars" will be pretty low. Most will be slightly modded or stockish. At $10 is cheap parking - you'll drop more than that in the meter if you have to park on the street.
  14. I course I'd leave a note. People need to be responsible for their actions.
  15. Mat, What were these off of?
  16. Looks like 15 slots left. Guy & gals - this will be a great track day. All SAUer and lots of noobs. Don't be stressed about being too slow (that will be me). Lots of good guys to show you the lines. I understand Wakie is wide open so minimal walls to hit even is you do get a bit out of shape. You will walk away wanting more and if you show up to watch you'll regret not driving. You even get a shirt out of it! If you have ever wondered what your car can do this is the time and place to find out...
  17. With the SNS meeting on Friday I can't do them both. I'll have to drop out of this one. Sorry - have fun for me...
  18. If you are being correct in the brake assesment - you might want to do a bit of work first. Think pads before anything else as they will give you the best bang for the buck and are realtively cheap. Ducting only gives a margin improvement. Stopping on the track is very important - more so than going fast to begin with. If you have severe fade you'll only get a few laps in each session at best or spend time in the grass or wall at worst.
  19. I'm running Federal ss595 in 255/40 all the way around. Look good, perfrom fine (not tracked yet) and at $178 ea were expectional value.
  20. It cost me that plus some (subframe kit as well) but they seemed to know what they were doing and suggested after a track day they would be happy if I bring it back for tweaking if necessary. Have only had it on the street so far but the car feels amazingly better. Everything feels tighter and more precise. Two goes at Wakefield coming up in the next 2 month so I'm very keen to see how it does. Gary - you making it to the club track day?
  21. This will be a great warm up for the club track day a month later.
  22. I'll be off the 2 weeks before. Dropping my son at Uni in the States on the 19th then flying back on the 20th. I'm keen to head down Thursday, check in, go to Winton on Friday and DECA over the weekend.
  23. I'm running the SK package with stock shocks/spring. Very tight feel and handles well but still a very comfortable ride.
  24. Snowman, Keep the dress, wear it in good health, send her up for the next track day.....
  25. Guys, I recently bot the F & R camber kits, castor kit, subframe alignments, and swap bars from SK's suspension Group Buy. Sounds "backwards" as everyone usually goes for springs and shocks (in the form of coilovers) first but I can tell you the handing impact on my car has been amazing. Give the group buy a look.
