  1. Agree, Brembos overrated 4000 DBA rotors on all four plus fereodo pads should tide you through in addition to the obvious
  2. Thanks for the replies guys; Ronin, thats what I've heard, but unsure of which collar you are supposed to add to them? itbmils, the crank is sitting on my bench
  3. I saw about half a dozen R33s on Saturday night between Hornsby and Rouse Hill on pennant hills road.... And 1 R32 GTST on Sat morning, black, P plates in Berowra
  4. Hi all, Time has come to fit an aftermarket oil pump on my earlier RB26 block, I've done a search and was not able to come up with a solid answer... The Nissan N1 oil pump will not fit straight up I have read? What modifications/parts are needed to fit this onto an otherwise standard crank/drive? Kindly appreciate any help, thanks
  5. If you plan on rebuilding one theres not really any point in starting with a N1 motor unless you need a stronger block (ie for 1000hp+ applications)
  6. Could you send some pics to [email protected] also where did you get this turbo
  7. A world without Skylines and other imports:
  8. Haha, Ken spot on the mark as per usual
  9. Hi Does anyone have the paint code for the maroon/red paint on the 34 RB26 engine covers? Thanks Rick
  10. I have 2 Matt, you have that exhaust.... you know my number...
  11. Its easy to be an arm-chair expert. I'd certainly pay more for a car in the country because I can look at it myself, and you'll be able to tell if the problems have been fixed.
  12. Your decision in the end, I'm not going to say you're wrong or anything but you're welcome to come for a cruise anytime
  13. Its funny how many people here came from a commodore background. I was a Commodore man, at the same stage my mate bought a 150rwkw VR SS. Ive since had a range of imports from GTST to GT-R. You're not sacrificing power or speed, a GTST will make more power and be much faster due to power to weight, not to mention handle much better etc. A stocker GTST will pretty much dust a 185kw VR Clubsport, you really can't lose when compared to a 3.8L VT.
  14. Yep. I don't park mine anywhere that I'm not.
  15. Does it really matter what they look like... they look like exhaust pipes... just go meet him and bring the dollars
  16. Interesting development mate.... For the sale $150 you'd be crazy not to buy it if you had a stocker....
  17. My motor is out of the car for this job....
  18. PM me some info on these other R32s i'll see if I can piece it together with what I know
  19. Hi tommy boy is that the green one from street machine or another one? Anyhow a standard clutch won't hold long at all especially with those mods. I put in a NISMO twin plate (sprung centre) and its fantastic. Mine came with the badge and a couple of Tommy things but I wasn't even aware they did a R32?
  20. Seen LATINI (from memory) at Mt Colah on Sunday afternoon with a few mates R34 GT-T, go the thumbs up
  21. Sorry for your loss. A highly modified rotor will always be a target in sydney im afraid.
  22. As above, and interested can pick up
  23. Andrew, I daresay if I was a stinking rich japanese businessman, I wouldn't be driving a 1989 R32 GT-R, it'd be more the R34 variety A very high percentage of GT-Rs are driven into the ground and you really have to be careful of what you buy especially as the age of the car progresses. Alot of modifications are infact not done on workshop budgets, and undoubtedly you'll end up spending money on anything fresh off the boat.
  24. What sort of costs are these, especially in relation to the DBAs?
