  1. hmmm.. I would have thought there would be more interest in swapping 17's for 18's with no extra money...
  2. what.. you don't have 26's? "they see me rollin, they hatin."

hey.. is the filter in the air box new as in new or new as in used.. is it a genuine nissan filter? EDIT - and do you have all the bolts to mount it (bolts for AFM to box as well)
  4. Don't be suprised when your manager comes to your desk with a printout of your post above saying "This job sucks" etc. Workplace internet security logs log "EVERYTHING". If you are for some reasons audited (like say if your boss found you puting people on hold to talk about exhausts on line), then they just filter out what access has been used by your userid/ip address of the workstation you're on. grounds for dismissal easy there.
  5. Thanks Chuckie821 but they they look too similar to what I already have.. I'll pass. any others?
  6. Stock 16 inch WRX wheels run 205/50/16. Skylines are 205/55/16 (R32 gtst) and 225/50/26 (R33 gtst) Some newer model FWD cars probably have 205/50/16
  7. More pics here..
  8. I have recently picked up my new whale and would like different wheels for it. the wheels are on the skyline as can be seen. no marks. tyres have plenty of tread. the fronts are 235's and the rears are 245's. I haven't taken a good look to see the rim width, but I'd say fronts are 8 wide and the rears are 9. 5x114.3 Offset = ?? I'll check. what I want? 17x9's for rear and 17x8's for the front. with decent tyres with plenty of tread. NO CHROME (unless it's on the lip) would prefer light weight Jap wheels. Would prefer dark wheels (black, gunmetal, grye, etc..) QLD ONLY Not looking for sale.. as I don't have a spare set to use. the car is a daily. So who is interested and what have you got for me?
  9. I spoke to autobarn and their basic shit one installed was a little over $500.
  10. price = typo? or per wheel??
  11. Chris is sorting me out for $500. top of the range immobiliser. meets insurance and AUS standards etc etc.
  12. habib.. just get one of your cousins to steal you one. also, tell them to return my 200sx. they "borrowed" it back in 2005 and are yet to return it. thanks uleh.
  13. R32 = hydrolic = power steering fluid.. R33 = electronic
  14. I'll give Chris another call tomorrow.
  15. I said stock position.. as in low mount.. the only thing that is direct bolt on is a hiflow stock one or an RB25 one. everything else will need "something" modified or purchased to fit.
  16. AFM is an electrical device and it sits in the hot engine bay day in day out. get's hot, then cools, then hot then cool.. for how many years? it is common for the AFM plug to get brittle with all that heat. it is also pretty common for them to get dry Solder joints within the AFM. so they can play up. makes it even worse if the AFM is attached to a pod which is not braced against something.. so.. if you do a search for the words SOLDER+AFM, you will come across a thread that talks about this and instructions on how to fix it. however, if I were you, I'd get myself a factory airbox and filter, fit it and test it out.
  17. lol... memories of clarks rubber heatshielded foam, cut with scissors, to use as heat shield, held in place by being wedged between the carbon canister...
  18. rb25 turbo - 180-190rwkw - $350 2510 - up to 210rwkw - $? double the above? 2530 - up to 230rwkw - $ as above. GCG ball bearing hiflow - up to 240rwkw - $1900 all of those would bolt on to stock position. these are just what the turbo's are capable of and what they cost to supply. install, tune etc is all extra.
  19. how many dorra you want to spend?
  20. TD04 is the standard wrx turbo
  21. I like to be an ass. if you are a work shop, why are you asking non qualified skyline owners? who's car is this so we can warn them of your incompetence?
  22. you see... this is why I carry on about using the stock air box. look how much time/money you have spent. How much it's giving you the shits. and you've gone Backwards in performance in comparison to an exposed pod filter, and even further backwards compared to a stock air box. there are at least 3 stock airbox with snorkle and panel filter for sale on these forums for an R33 GTST for $50. If you must keep it, then I'd suggest removing the partition and going for another drive (how many hours to do that?). if there are no problems high in the rev range, then you know that the partition is causing some sort of problem. be it not enough air due to no cai (Cold Air Induction) or perhaps it is too tight around the rubber intake pipe that goes from pod to turbo and is actually crimping it a little causing a restriction in air. perhaps due to no air feed (cai), the rubber pipe between turbo and pod is being sucked closed.. who knows.. so what are you going to do? spend another x hours to diagnose and possibly fix it but still be left with a system that has no air feed? or spend less time and $50 to get the stock air box and sort it out properly.
  23. ^^^ = more dollars and hassle than stock air box. I'm willing to swap my blitz pod filter for a stock air box and stock filter. grab your self a bargain
  24. Incorrect... but anyway..
