its just that i had heard running larger injectors than u need can cause problems with idleing issues

hi all, well its ssems like it has been a long slog but almost finally there, (last of the mods) had the car dynoed a little while back, (safe tune only, little over 200rwkw) as at that time i had a stock turbo and was running premium not 98 octane fuel, I have since installed a Vg30 hi flow and just waiting on the tune to switch to 98 octane, I need to know which injectors to buy to help me achive my aim of 300kw!! will the 550 sard inj do the job nicely? my mods so far include: pwr fc, Vg30 hi flow turbo, fpr, jj intercooler, ebc, when the car goes in to have the tune, injectors as well as Z32 afm will go in, thing is i have heard conflicting stories about running overly large injectors in a car that doesnt have massive amounts of power/let me re phrase that, overly large injectors can cause idiling and fuel consumption problems. with the mods i have listed what size injectors would people reccomend for me to achive my aimed 300kw?? at $760 delivered i am looking at the sards, but for $860 Delivered i could also get TOMEI 555cc or TOMEI 6 Injectors for $875 Delivered or 6x Tomei 600cc injectors - $820 delivered so what does eveyone think? will i need anything larger than 600cc to achive 300kw with supporting mods or can this be achived easily with 550cc injectors help!

I hads the same identical issue, soon as i upgraded my exhaust/fmic i noticed the "popping" increased in ferocity, checked s/plugs, siliconed the coil packs up, slight difference , but it wasnt until i got my pwr fc that it became evident that it was my standard ecu going into R&R mode, get an engine management system in my opinion, the rebroad minded persons will speak for themselves

hi all, im heading back up to L'ton 2morrow, not for a retune (although i just had my new turbo fitted/fkn awesome!) although it wont be to far away, just decieded to hold off until i deciede what injectors i will go with, then i'll change the fuel, have injectors fitted and Z32afm done all at the same time. anyway getting of the topic, I have a turbo we took of a mates car to replace with a bigger one, now, when he bought the car the guy insisted it had a hi flow turbo, i just happened to have my stock 33 turbo handy to compare them and there doesnt seem to be much difference, im even thinking it might be a 33 stock turbo, but anyway anyone with some knowledge who could have a look 2morrow would be welcomed! I will be there about 10ish until late afternoon, if i cant get insight from a sau member i guess i will take it to brad sherrif and see if he will take a look/identify for me, as its no longer wanted by its current owner (he would like to recoupe some $$ towards his new turbo) and i have offered to sell it for him once it is propperly identified, so if youre about in L'tn 2morro and can help, shoot me a mssge on 0413239099 and i'll meet with you somewhere, cheers Damo also edited first original post on this thread
