that explains why duggan and parker workers didnt know anything about any tyres! got the car back, pretty happy, just broke the 200kw mark (just a safe tune for now), heading back up in a week or and having it re tuned on bp ultimate, brad stated he would be happy to push it a bit more when it is retuned i could be looking at an extra 30-50 kw... wooooot!

hey ben, car wont be ready until late today, not sure on how its gunna turn out as i ended up taking the advice of my mechanic and stayed with premium fuel for thew tune, brad wasnt to impressed with the decision so we will see how it goes, im in mulgrave street at my brothers house atm.

Edit first post...hi all, im heading back up to L'ton 2morrow, not for a retune (although i just had my new turbo fitted/fkn awesome and angry sounding!) although it wont be to far away, just decieded to hold off until i deciede what injectors i will go with, then i'll change the fuel, have injectors fitted and Z32afm done all at the same time. anyway getting off the topic, I have a turbo we took of a mates car to replace with a bigger one, now, when he bought the car the guy insisted it had a hi flow turbo, i just happened to have my stock 33 turbo handy to compare them and there doesnt seem to be much difference, im even thinking it might be a 33 stock turbo, but anyway anyone with some knowledge who could have a look 2morrow would be welcomed! I will be there about 10ish until late afternoon, if i cant get insight from a sau member i guess i will take it to brad sherrif and see if he will take a look/identify for me, as its no longer wanted by its current owner (he would like to recoupe some $$ towards his new turbo) and i have offered to sell it for him once it is propperly identified, so if youre about in L'tn 2morro and can help, shoot me a mssge on 0413239099 and i'll meet with you somewhere, cheers Damo hey all, I'm heading up to L'ton tomorrow to have my car tuned by Brad at Duggan & Parker, dropping the car off at 10:45 am and have some time to kill after that. Interested, what did u have this on ? Rb25 ? whats the spooling up like? slow/fast? is a modifyed manifold needed or will it bolt straight on to my Rb25det?Im guessing it has an external w/g cheers

Hi all, ive tried searching round for some answers but havent been able to find. The thing is my R33 gtst is going in for a tune and i dont know if i should hold off until i buy a Z32afm or if infact this is a waste of money for my car, my mods are: Bosch 040 fuel pump-adj fuel press regulator, fmic,JJR twin split dump pipe, Gizzmo boost controller, HKS pod filter, blits atm blow off (i may have left some stuff out as im in a hurry) I plan to run it on 11psi all the time. My apexi pwr fc is being tuned when the dyno run/tune is done. I was hoping for at least 220rkw at 11psi and a bit higher on 13psi, my question is will i need to upgrade to a Z32 and if i dont will it affect the tune a little/lot? what should i do? could someone please explain to me the advantage of a Z32 and if i really need it/should get it before the tune, Im not really sure if i will go that much further with the mods on this car as its my daily driver (in saying that i may look at bigger inj and hi flo turbo in the future) please help!, cheers Damo

Well.... the bosch 040 went in today after some unkind words and a gestures to my mechanic. I left the workshop this morning after telling him one final " It fu@#ing will go in, just do it!" I returned mid way through the day to find it had been done-finally! it isnt noisy at all! and i had less than a quater of a tank of fuel when i drove out of there- but did head on to the servo after about 20mins of driving, hope it didnt give everyone else a headache like it did me LOL! cheers all, Damo

will the pump go to the bottom of the tank or nearly to the bottom?? it showed a pic of a bosch fuel pump towards the bottom of page 3, with a sock and hoses, thats an 044 not an 040 right? do i need to do this mod to my 040??? friggin lost here!

I just took a look at the pic, I was un aware that i would need to modify the pump also, down the bottom where the sock is attached, how is this done??? take the mesh of the bottom of the pump and?? Edit: thats an 044 eh?

I decided to have a mechanic install my bosch 040 today, he modifyed the cradle etc then went to install .... told me it cant be done, the o4o is physically larger than stock pump and will not go down far enough to draw fuel out effectivly and i would be forever filling it to make sure there is enogh fuel, all the reading i have done on the 040 says it can be done??????

hi all I have a pair of immac R32 GTR seats up for sale, as stated above I only recently purchused theses seats from a sau member (BLUEGTR) to replace the dud ones I had bought before hand. rest assured the seats up for grabs are in immac cond with no rips, tears, cigg holes, bent rails etc. Only reason i am selling is because i have just bought a set of R33 gtr seats an no longer have a need for these, so out they go! asking $850 for the pair can help to arrange freight, just took delivery of the new seats today and am at work so had to use the work camera. heres a couple of pics of the seats in the car and will post some more up once i have removed them, cheers Damo Edit:I am interested in swapping for a turbo/hi flow/not standard R33 located in Tas
