  4. 1. zaust.... nuff said.. that alone is the best bang for buck and gives the car more pickup. Fuji and hks re pretty pimp.. i was lucky enough for my skyrine to get a CMS custom exhaust ( turbo back) for like 500 bucks.. ( second hand) And my stag came with one, that with a pod i put on its pretty niiice. With a fmic id be pretty stoked.. Theres an S15 im looking at now (99% in the bag, deposit down) that has every mod under the sun done to it already bar a turbo ( hes giving me the manifold for it as well). When i took it for a test drive it made me happy in the pants...looking foward to tomorrow when i pick it up
  5. Yeah i have had silvias and skylines ( getting another one) and never been pulled over. Got pulled over in my first ever car ( hyungai) but that was because i was stupid. Also the reports about speeding / crashing and "young drivers at risk / hoons" the highest area is Southside (Logan / Beenleigh) and the Gold coast. Luckily enough northside is about 4-5th on the radar. So of course they are going to target that area. However the senior statisican is going to show them something very interesting about their enforcement policies and what they could do to improve effectiveness about it. When he showed me i was extremely impressesed,it rocks to work for him and i think they are very lucky to have him as a stat consultant.
  6. pimpin... yeah i like the silvias, before my 33 i had an s13 and it was fun to drive.. and besides i still got R34 RB25DET NEO power anyway!! ( Stagea)
  7. Actually......the "hoon" campaign for Main Roads shows that the gold coast and south brisbane has the highest amount of offenders. And i can legally give you these stats, if you would like them goto the weekly report for fatalities in QLD YTD ( year to date). https://www.webcrash.transport.qld.gov.au/webcrash2/ ( goto the weekly report). Now im going to add something to this about the hoon bit, not sure if it has been said, however since i have access to the facts by a great change of luck and life ill let you all know. 1. The "hooning/ young driver fatality" campaign started with showing which catagory was the highest death toll on the road ( yup 17 24 year olds) ..actually let me break it down for you how the report and campaign started. Serious Injury ( severity 1 & 2 - Fatal / Hospitalized) caused by young drivers (17-20 & 20 -24) driving high performance vehicles (8 cylinders) sorted by year. Now i spoke to the senior advisor about this, as the 8 cylinder sorting does not include HPV such as 6 turbo's or 4 turbo's. Problem is that the system does not recogonise turbos as a valid entry ( same with QLD transport for registration, it does it only by cylinders). So by putting in specific makes of cars it would come out with inaccurate data (as 6 cylinder would also bring up things like a Magna, long story easier to explain it in person as its a lot of typing - that said i really should come to a dinner again and ill be happy to explain some other interesting facts). So the only accurate data they could use was 8 cylinders. Now this does not count fatalities based on the cars we use(Skylines), however cops are not that silly to not notice whats a sports car. So the original report given and then bought to the public eye was based on the best data available ( it is pretty close to the mark, and for it to get to the public it went through a LOT of hoops, ministers have to approve etc etc). So the next part of this "hooning" goes to another team, registration. For someone to be registered as a "hoon" on the system ( thats how they create reports for hoons, a query based on registrations with the flag of "hoon") you have to have a STRING.. and i mean a STRING of offences before the word "hoon" comes up.. so honestly if you have "hoon" on your details.. you deserve it ( no flack plz from a sob story who thinks they did nothing to get "hoon". i 100% dont believe you). And then the information is then supplied to the police based on SLA ( statistical location area) and then they target the highest numbers. So if theres a lot of hoons in one area, thats where they are going. I hope they catch more, it will help reduce the fatalities on the road and its working as we are now 7.79% compared to the S.Deviation across australia (based on population/kms/kms travelled). Which is the lowest fatality rate we have had since accurate data was recorded from 1952. - This is also my opinion on the matter and is no way the reflection of how QLD transport as a body sees it. The stats however are accurate
  8. does burpengary count as sunny coast? i got a stag atm which is staying in the family now, and im tossing up between buying a Silvia Spec R or a Vspec GTR for myself. Still a QLD member though
  9. bump..this is a great price for a series 2 stag in this condition. my mobile phone camera doesnt do it justice.
  10. kinda want something i can drive on the road, thanks though.. Also after an R33 GTR as well so happy to do swap + cash. Vpsec would be nice but will look at other r33 gtr's PRICE DROP : $13,400 ONO
  11. Ill get some more interior pics if you want, found an old pic before i had the seats changed to leather ( 4 month old pic), no difference except theres genuine stage matts that come with it all. oh and the cargo barrier etc etc. the inside is flawless ( got a 4A for the auction sheet for interior. Stag matts for the back as well.
  12. thanks for the offer, but i have already had an R33 just before the stag. Im looking at getting an S15 as the next car so if anyone has one happy to do swap + cash etc. If not ill just sell and get another loan. However other cars i may be interested in ( pending price / quality) Lan Evo VII WRX STI 01-03
  13. Make:Nissan Model:Stagea Milage:91XXX Transmission:Tiptronic Colour:Nismo Red Location:Brisbane Complied?Yes RWC supplied?Yes Currently registered?Yes Price:14,200 Contact:Chris / 0423 031 516 Comments / Modifications: I was the first owner of this car in the country and i personally imported this myself ( papers provided) - Got from an auction and was a 4AA grade car. This is the Series 2 Stage so it doesnt have the R33 RB25DET but the R34 RB25DET NEO engine which is a much more smoother and powerful engine then the r33 counterpart The car came with aftermarket suspension and a 4" turbo back exhaust. Oddly it is not that loud, but has a nice rumble note though on idle. Since having it i have only done a few mods, nothing over the top. I have put a Apexi power intake in it and i was also lucky enough to trade my interior with another stag owner and now have prob one of the only RS-V's with a full black leather interior with electric seats. It has a lot of power under the bonnet and has been great for moving as we have used the boot and racks more then what i can think. However i miss a manual car so i have imported another sports car from japan. It will be here within the next few months so i am looking to reduce the cars i own. This car wont dissapoint if your after a sleeper sports car that no one looks at but is also more usefull to put stuff in ( like gig equipment or gardening stuff) then some of my old cars ( S14, R33,R34). Got any questions let me know. Will come with a RWC and open to any mechanical inspections. Breakdown Exterior ---------------- Factory Body Kit /w Nismo Rear Spoiler 17" BBS Mags with Maxxis 235/25's ( tyres only 5000km old) Aftermarket Suspension R34 Xennon HID's Interior ------------ Full Custom Black Leather Interior Aftermarket sound system ( came with that pioneer dvd/gps/7" screen deck, you can mod it but better off putting a new headdeck in there) Pioneer TS Series Speakers ( front & mid) Performance ------------------------ 4" Turbo back custom aftermarket exhaust Apexi Power Intake NGK Plat Plugs (1 month old)
  14. my old r33 had the hicas reservoir in it in the back, so you can assume then that some s1 and s2 models could have it as well.
  15. or it could be the reseviour to the HICAS
  16. the more room you have under the car the quicker you will do it as well. with only 2 foot of room you are going to whinge and moan like i did when i did my r33. Also it depends on if the exhaust fits under or over the back diff too . and also sometimes getting those damn oxy sensors out can be a pain.. espec when the previous retard owner puts the wrong thead one in.
  17. I just took a look, stock they pull out about 170 or 120 atw. With some mild porting and better breathing they get to about 160-170 atw. i wouldnt say that that is "very very" quick..but horses for courses i guess. But yeah stags are great, they got lots of power, and i still can whip boyracers when i wanna and i love being able to cart the amount i can in there.Lotsa room. My stag might be on the market soon if your interested..miss manual too much ( tiptronic stag) so thinking of getting the autech version but as a manual.
  18. i live in burpengary too.. i saw your r33 outside of red rooster last night ( or the night before) I use to own an r33, now i own a red stag (series 2 one). havent seen the other skylines around.. but seen yours omy and some dudes grey r32 that is in really poor shape
