  1. We dont accept quotes from anybody who owns a jeep Bigmike.
  2. Have a chat with Dan at elite with regards to your engine build http://www.erd.com.au/ Cant help you with the paint but get them to paint the gtr badge out while youre at it.
  3. Doesnt appear to alter their driving habits much now does it.
  4. There are 2 types of people in the world, Those who have 30 bottom ends and those who will.
  5. stuffem, Absolute less than zero respect for traffic branch cops. In nearly 40 years of driving I have yet to see them hiding behind the bushes with their ray gun when its pissing down rain, wet and cold on a dangerous piece of road when it really does count. In the same time frame I have yet to see a friggin truck pulled over gettin written up but i can drive the road any day and watch the diesel jockeys go nuts speeding, tailgaiting, lane hogging, cutting people off, losing crap from uncovered loads, non working tail lights etc. I've been booked probably more than most, I do around 120 kay a year and 90% of my tickets come from doing less than 10 kph over the limit on a freeway or such. against the rules? definitely but I am not going to change my habits to the point that I'm driving around with my eye on the speedo instead of the road. Am I nice to them, Like hell. they can blow a goat. Any time one of them wants to put their safety record against mine I'll put money on me. In all those years I havnt bruised a grape. When I see them being serious about doing the job properly my attitude will change. Until then I'll continue to point out the 30 year old mitsubishi sigma with rust holes you can see through, broken windscreen etc driving past as he's writing out my ticket for doing 6 kph over the freeway limit and telling him what a nice person he is.
  6. I hearya dude. both is great but i become miss daisy when it rains. Traction even in the worst conditions will not be an issue to me.
  7. Personally i would prefer good wet weather braking over good traction in the wet.
  8. stupid f**k in the car. Shoulda backed up and had another go.
  9. QR and willowbank got smart. They built their facilitys under the F1 11 flight path. They will never have an issue there.
  10. You.ve been gotten back to, What now?
  11. ZOMG! I bet every one who has done track days can relate. Funny shiot.
  12. Gtr bovs sold subject to payment Cam gears are as it says. Spool
  13. X2. Its neither an arse nor an elbow. Not suited to track work and way too pricey for what it is for a street car.
  14. Definitely the RSR Roy, I have been a big fan of them as a street/track combo tyre for a long time but as a track only tyre they fall short of the dedicated semi's. Probably the reason why federal are in the process of introducing the new semi as used by callum earlier in this thread.
  15. Buger all that I could tell Dave, Maybe a 10th or so at best.
  16. So when do we get to see the calender. will hopefully make at least a couple of them.
  17. Been hunting around looking for my times on the 2 tyres on the qr sprint circuit feddy's 59.8 Dunlops 58.3
  18. Not arguing as to wether they are good or not Roy. A great tyre. My quoted times were actual time differences I ran from one track day to the next. The rsr's were amazing compared to the street rubber i used prior but the dunlops semi's took grip to a whole nutha level.
  19. no. 255 x 17 is still the biggest they are importing atm. They only have a couple or so of sizes available.
  20. With a hardness rating of 140 it falls short of some of the true semi's Roy. It is the best all round (street/track) tyre I have ever used but it is at least 1 & 1/2 seconds slower than the direzza,s I replaced them with.
  21. He's using the new federal semi Ben.
  22. You're the second bloke in a week who has cast doubts over those tyres. Mate in a 32 gtr went to them from re 55's and wasnt happy with the grip levels.
