  1. Not with you Doof
  2. Add me to the list please
  3. The item in the photo is a Turbo Timer mate
  4. And yes, it's easier to reach from under the car
  5. my oil pressure also dropped. It's most noticeable if you give it a bit of a rev, what happens is a tiny bit of oil leaks out and drips onto hot metal and burns away. Oil pressure will drop a little as a result but not much. To fix it, the mechanic simply installed a new line and sealed it properly, we initially tried just clamping it better and it worked at first. However the problem soon came back hence the new line. I didn't have a standard turbo though so if you do it may work to just clamp it. It'll cost less as otherwise it's a few hours labour to install the new line, good luck. Cheers Steve.
  6. I had that happen to me, same actions causing it, thought I'd burnt the clutch. Turns out I loosened the oil line to the turbo and a tiny bit of oil was leaking out and being burned off resulting in a smell that also came thru the aircon a bit. Also had steam seeping out from the front guards. Don't know if this will help but you never know.
  7. That's a very stupid thing to do mate. Take a look under the post count and you might bother to notice that he's an admin, not very wise to annoy them when you're new to the forum chum.
  8. Damn you Slim I've got to clean the coca cola off my keyboard now from clicking on that link On topic: Gave a thumbs up out the window to a navy blue 32 GTR on Sefton Rd Normanhurst about 4:15pm this arvo. I was in my daily driver tho. Nice car mate.
  9. Well I guess I'll be first to put up my hand and vouch for this car, don't sell it Mitch! Guys and Gals if you want a really nice midnight purple GTR with a forged engine rebuild already done for you, then buy this car. It's always been looked after mechanically and the paint is in great condition. You won't find a better condition GTR for this price. Good luck with the sale Mitch though it's a shame you're letting her go, ther'd better be a good reason..
  10. Hmm provided I end up going to this I'd be more than happy to lead, however... My car has 11cm of clearance at the front, will this clear the ferry?
  11. Can't say it's a great thing to have but it gets rid of tailgaters at night
  12. Mate I like your car so I'll give you some advice for trying to sell it on here: 1. Most of the people trolling in this area know a little about the cars so you'll do better by not blowing smoke up their arse and writing such a long praising saga about the way your car sounds, handles etc. 2. Most of the other people who will be looking at your sale add don't wish to read a saga about how great your car is compared to other skylines and how amazing the sound of the exhaust is blah blah blah... Don't bother with it. Just a few decent photos(which you have) and a comprehensive list of what is done to the car without the gushing remarks will go a lot further to help sell your car mate, leave the rest out.
  13. I can tell you right now that it does fall under "Duty of Care" and also RSA if they were out the front of the club(possibly a smoking area? or just at the front door). I've worked and managed in bars and nightclubs for 9 years now and the front of the club is more often than not the private property of the club. The security and management have a responsiblity to control the area and move along anyone who has been ejected. From past experience of people doing it to the venues, go to the police ASAP, contact the licensee of the venue and persuade the police to review the footage that they will no doubt have. If the people that did this have not been ejected(and it sounds like they should've been) then they are patrons and the venue is at fault if they lash out. If they WERE ejected then, once again they should have been moved on by security and again the venue is at fault. I don't know how hard you'll have to push but don't delay it, you have far more chance the earlier you get on with the investigation. Good luck with it mate, I hope it all works out. Cheers Steve.
  14. flat screen or crt?
  15. Is that blue R33 the non-turbo one I've seen around?
  16. Damn Warlord, so much hate in here mate Nice work on the new setup, only saw your car on the drive down the Old Pac when you had the old turbo, it must be a real weapon now.
  17. Hi mate, sadly due to my being a cheap ass that's more than I wanted to spend but I will keep it in mind thanks
  18. Hey guys looking for a very cheap daily driver to get me to and from work, show me what you've got. Really not looking to spend much, just want a piece of junk that goes basically. I'm located in Sydney. Cheers Steve.
  19. Happy Birthday mate
  20. Fine by me Doof, I'm too lazy to report it Thought they were headed to the Old Pac
  21. Lol, and her name will be "Ted" I'll give you a call anyway
  22. Nah haven't got it back yet mate but Frank is doing a damn nice job on it We can go down Saturday and see if it's done if you like?
  23. Happy Birthday mate
  24. Hi mate I used a hair dryer to heat the plastic coating up till it got a bit rubbery. Then I rubbed it off with my thumb, took about 40 minutes.
  25. Mate, I know you're probably joking but just remember it's a public forum. Well said Pezhead, no need for it on the streets, yes they were nice cars but hell we all have nice cars and the majority can control their right foot as proven by the guy with the white R34 GTR who left after them. That Tommy Kiara car was very nice, I didn't think the other was a Nur Spec, if you want to see one of them, when I'm back on the Thursday cruises I'll ask my friend to bring his Nur Spec II down
