  8. noticed those QFMS fell apart pretty badly when they got below 4mm for me
  9. + they sounded like expensive r comp tyres which would be properly rooted now, that abrasive runway wouldv torn them to shreds, sadface
  10. CSI miami: im thinking he jumped on ice cold brakes, which didnt grab immediately, so he pushed the pedal harder, rears warmed up first and locked, handbrake effect
  11. more straight-line cornering issues for greg in the s15
  12. i was considering entering but could tell that the time attack side of things was gunna be a waste of time.. who can be stuffed getting the car all prepped just to drive around bumpy ass QR with no incentives on offer. also heard entry fee was something stupid like 400+? surely not
  13. heres the vid of the shootout incident i thought the release was strange.. but really had my gameface on and wasnt thinking. only had one thing on my mind and that was getting the car up to temp and myself into my rhythm to go fast. hindsight says, I shouldv maybe stopped at pit exit and allowed him past? or ran around as fast as possible and straight back in to the pits to give martin the clear track he deserved. but i picked the spot that would hopefully be out of his way. but it was obviously very distracting and caused him to make the mistake. wrong choice. my fault. avoided being hit by probably a meter. very lucky that both cars are undamaged. hopefully this situation never happens again, how hard is it to release the next car immediately after the preceeding car goes past on its hotlap? not to worry
  14. hell yea! that banking looks like awesome fun... living the nascar dream !
  15. IN! met coop yesterday, 58 flat on his first visit to the place? what an effort! taking work off for a shakedown tomorrow to hopefully get back in the groove. should rent the evo again like last year ben !
  16. no wuckas mate over about 5 hot laps, car weighs 1200~kg, camber of about -3 front and -1 rear. toe is rougly 0 all round, springrates 7/5kg rsr's didnt give fantastic feel/feedback compared to the cheaper ku36's.. felt a bit funny at the limit, not much warning that you were about to go beyond it. but about 1sec quicker so cant complain too much.
  17. hey mate, recommended pressures from federal are pretty close in my silvia, with 215 and 235 rsr's i used 34 front and 31 rear, which grew to 45 and 37 respectively to go fastest around lakeside
  18. fuggin awesome, just went to visit zandvoort a couple of weeks ago with my mate during the week, just epic to see the undulation, mega jelly of you getting to drive it man! sweet vid russ, car looks freakin fun to drive. nice steer job
  19. iv got a qstarz 818XT brand new in box for $80+post for sale if anyones keen (or pickup bris southside)
  20. sweet vid noddy! like the buildup commentary :] russ, your youtube vidoeo ID has been through chernobyl and is malformed
  21. KU36 10x sprints and 14 000 kays of street, 62.14 fastest RSR's 6x sprints and 10 000 kays of street, 61.11 fastest
  22. RSR's were about 1 second quicker than the ku36 around lakeside for me. they did chew out a lot faster as i was driving them on the road aswell, but that sounds like a pretty awesome deal, DO IT ! as a comparison, KU36 felt nicer as you approach the limit, the RSR's felt a bit funny and did not give as much feedback, but had better overall grip so thats the tradeoff.
  23. hell yea sweet vid :] rears took a bit to come up to temp by the looks! oldmate in the blue put up a bit of a fight! didnt wanna give it up easy. great stuff mate love it
  24. flippin awesome hrd, am i crazy or are you on speakerphone to your pit crew? that rocks :]
