QR sprints from the weekend found the official timing to be a fair way out compared with video/GPS which agreed with each other. explained HERE post no. 84

interesting. so iv just confirmed after reviewing my video, that QR's timing is um, interesting did a 4 lap uninterrupted run, pause as i cross the finish line and write down the time on the video. first lap = 2:02 = 122 seconds end of 4th lap = 5:56 = 356 seconds time to run 4 laps = 234 seconds, divided by 4 = 58.5 average. QR's official timing: 59.155, 59.183, 59.899, 59.448 = 237.685 total. 3.6 seconds added over 4 laps. what the. my racechrono GPS timing= 58.36, 58.26, 58.73, 58.48 = 233.83secs i'll confirm my camera is accurate...

seems crazy from where im standing.. so howcome its costing 100 for the license, 220 for the trackday... then MORE for some irrelevant CLUB? iv got friends who are like minded people and it hasnt cost me any money so far surely the license itself could include me in the cams club? alright if youv got lots of money to burn but not everyone does mate :]

im keen but also confused as hell by all these crazy cams rules. so freakin complicated and the sheer amount of paperwork needed is stupid. is there a cams office in brisbane? where you can go to sort all this out or do i need to send smoke signals to warwick via snail mail and cheques its starting to look easier/cheaper/less hassle to go AASA topgear racing/irace at this point...
