  2. Yea depending on budget, I have a PDX1.600 mono block with a 12" Type R Sub, Kicks hard and clean. To match your install you could install a Type S sub: 300w RMS SWS-1223D Type-S 12" (30cm) Subwoofer A$219.00. Should be a nice setup when its all done, gotta love alpine Cheers
  3. I was looking to respray a clean r34 from white to black about a month ago. If I was to strip the car and give them a shell, it would be 4-6k, To let them strip the car I would expect to allow a further 1-2k. These prices were from from DMD the Image (Brisbane). I have seen their work and was quite pleased with it. Obviously this is only my research, some people have had a car respray for a few hundred $$ + a carton of beer. Cheers
  4. Bit of a late reply, but If its yellowing of the headlight use some autosol ( yes metal polish ) worked wonders on my 33, as for the inside, they are a pain in the a$$ to clean. In the oven to loosen the black goo, and pry them open. Cheers
  5. Cheers, yea its my pride and joy. Will be sad to see her go.

  11. Hey, Quick question, I have a 97 R33 GTS-t. Up until not its been stock dump/front pipe. A few days ago I got it replaced with a 3" turbo back... When I got the car back there was not heat shielding at all, no heat tape or shields.. Is this normal ? Do I need heat shielding?? Cheers Craig
  12. MY ABS Story, 1997 R33 Gts-T: (skip to see resolution) Over the past few months my ABS warning light has been on, no big deal, breaks still worked fine and it somehow it passed NSW roadworthy. But I wanted to know what the problem was and I didn't want to spend $250 on a replacement ABS unit. I had the car data streamed and It responded with "ABS motor [off] or fail" no real help. My Issues started about 6 months ago where the ABS motor would not switch off, it continued running even when the car was completely off. I figured faulty wiring or faulty abs module, and just unplugged it. I downloaded the R33 workshop manual and traced through all the wiring, fuses and relays* I found two 30amp SPDT (single poll double throw) Relays in a module attached to the abs pump Part Number:47605 Long Story Short, I tested the Relays one would Close Circuit when powered, the other one would not. I cut the faulty Relay apart and found the small connection point broken off, I re-applied the contact and put everything back together, All worked 100%. I will buy a new relay and replace the old one. The original Relay was matshita, but it can be replaced with a Panasonic. Pic 1 Original Relay Pic 2 Relay Internals Pic 3 R33 Spares

  14. URGENT!!! anyone know where they are heading Im running late and Have waited all year for this. Cheers
  15. Hey, I have a similar Problem with the ABS. About a year ago the ABS pump would run constantly, my solution was to unplug the power cable to the unit. I checked all my fuses and wiring, no issues there...... Although Attached to the ABS unit is a small black box containing 2 relays. It may be worth getting these checked. I drew up a wiring diagram and as far as i could tell one of the relays is malfunctioning. This explained my intermittent ABS warning light and pump not switching off... good luck
