  1. i have an r33 gtr computer, with no case in an anti static bag here, upgraded to a vipec in the standard case a while back, please pm me if you are interested
  2. yeah. I want to flash the stock puter so can keep it as factory as possible. I was looking at the raptor kits, pretty comprehensive kit and priced well. Its an auto, 5 speed sportshift one, same as the liberties. Its very good on the highway, but if you are on the gas around town its thirsty. I have seen high 7s on the highway
  3. Im considering supercharging the wifes H6 Outback and need to know if anyone here has any ideas of any flash tuners available for them? I heard a whisper a few years ago that COBB was looking into it but never heard anything else. The standard car had 194 4whp, put it on the dyno for the lulz. I am looking for a little more poke and to fill the torque gap it has in the lower revs for towing. Input appreciated
  4. had a weekend in hervey bay just gone got a few beauty snapper!
  5. was in hervey bay on the weekend and saw a clean 32 gtst with large white? rims pulling in to the BP near hungry jacks, also saw a silver 34 with no wing cruising around on saturday night near the BCF building
  6. i have a bastardised JB Full Monty. Got a stock flywheel, 300zx plate and cover and 5500 clamp, jim was saying its slightly larger than the stock plate and cover. It shudders like a bitch when its cold, but as soon as its 5 minutes in on the drive its like a normal clutch. It can catch a few people off guard but only took me 25 mins max to sort it out.
  7. Nice wheels then mate. I was looking at one for the wife but she likes her subarus
  8. ahh yes, silver sedan i used to see at bridgestone?
  9. not a rocky start. Just sensibility. What do you drive mate? From Gladstone? Pm me if you like
  10. i think i have seen the maroon 32 around. Construction worker i think. A few 32 gtrs getting around now
  11. Do you pair have kids? Married? I bet if you were put in the situation that another motorist and myself were your reaction may very well be alot more aggressive. I have been exceptionally diplomatic, albiet on a public forum, about what happened. The other motorist had to take evasive action which involved a bit of offroad driving to avert a potential 3 car accident and an almost certain fatality. As i stated above, we have a drag strip, go kart track AND a driver short course in this town, so is there really any reason to drive like a tool? I acknowledge that we are all young and silly at some time, but there is a time and place to do it. If you want to debate it and throw your opinion around, do as i have asked and pm me so we can have a more in depth talk about it, unless you feel you havnt got a valid point? Cheers, Allan
  12. if you wish to argue i recommend keeping it to private messages. spotted a clean 32 gtr today, white wheels on white r. Nice clean ride! I waved but wasnt seen
  13. i have thought heavily about wmi in my gtr build as sugarjuice is not available up here yet in regional qld. Any tips on a gtr installation guys?
  14. i was with just cars and had an agreed value plan and was paying 1700pa for my 33r with declared mods and they just decided to refuse me insurance on my vehicle when it was due to be renewed. Ill never go back. I am now with Lumley who seem.to do mainly special vehicles and are alot more compliant towards our requests. Age is 26, qld
  15. Saw a black 33 gts-25t tonight. Rego 307-MVQ i think it was. Id really appreciate it if you didnt drive like a dickhead son, because if you do, and in any way endanger the lives of my family whom are usually in the car with me, i will stop you at the next set of lights and bash you within an inch of your life. We have a drag strip and a driver education short course for you to take your anger out on, please keep it off the streets. Oh, this was in Gladstone, CQ
  16. Thought id throw up some pictures of the sump baffles. They are really a Bolt In affait. It doesnt get much easier than the Nismo baffles. As you can see, they use the factory hardware for mounting and are one piece unlike the tomei baffle. Perfect fitment except for a slightly bent corner due to bieng mishandles by Auspost, but easily ficed by gently bending it back Enjoy
  17. im using factory bearing clearances mate. Also, after the run in, ill be switching to Mobil 1 5w50 synthetic oil.
  18. thanks a mint paul. Appreciate the favor mate
  19. sump is on. Now to get to the nitty gritty. Looking at ignition options and injector choices. Havnt gone a balancer yet as i dont know if it will warrant a trigger setup or not. Still a little way to go
  20. thats the sort of info im after woolls. Keep it coming guys what was your solition mate? Just gapping the plugs down?
  21. yeah nismoiud, i can source OEM new for approx 105 landed each which is cheap as chips. Its got nothing to do with emmisions, i just want it to work faultlessly, and not have to worry about it. As for the cost VS. Splitfires, i may be able to do something for less than half the cost of splitfires, ill let you all know later on and if it eventuates. Cheers for the input so far guys Cheers, Allan
  22. if i remember correctly, elrodeo was saying they were somewhere in the vicinity of 1700 landed here in aus so they are scary exxy
  23. welcome to the forums mate. Hope you enjoy your time in a nissan and here on the forums!
  24. point noted rob. I will definately look into it. Thanks again for the feedback mate, its appreciated. While i respect the fact that there are the "Splitfires are great" brigade, i also have noted the fact that i have not seen one BIG HP GTR in JP that runs splitfires. They all seem to run OEM coils with ignitor mods or run the OKADA or similar Plasma DF coils which may i add, are prohibitively expensive. Please guys and girls, keep the ideas coming! This thread will no doubt benifit more than just me in the future Cheers, Allan
  25. hmmm. Thanks for the input rob. Whilst using LS2 or BF coils is not my ideal setup at this current point in time (wishing for the engine to look as unmolested as possible) i will definately keep it in mind. I would much prefer the coil on plug type setup so i can use the engine ornament/coilpack cover plate to keep things looking tidy. Thanks again rob, Cheers, Allan
