  1. ahhh i c ...
  2. Don't you get a much greater result in braking performance by increasing the rotor size over increasing the caliper size? As well as more initial bite by reducing the pad surface area? Also I thought stop tech match the amount of fluid that your stock BMC could flow? This is important because it retains that feel in the pedal and even braking pressure accross the pads correct? Thats what makes them a good light track car upgrade?
  3. nissan?
  4. you can easily turbo either ... having said that ... for a basic setup you would need the turbo model's (either 34 or 33) manifold, turbo, intercooler and plumbing, ecu, fuel pump, injectors etc etc even with all this the static compression ratio is alot higher in the NA models. This fact is a double edged sword. In one hand it provides better driveability (to an extent) but it will ultimately restrict the amount of boost and hence power that you can produce. You can push the factory turbo motor so much further for the same amount of money or less. if you want a turbo skyline IMO it would be cheaper to buy one already turbo charged from factory and go from there ... hope that helps
  5. 2rismo is a drag racer with a fair bit of experience. MPH usually represents power. 106mph doesn't usually represent the 220rwkw your claiming is all. If you know you've got it who cares.
  6. yeah dean, It will bolt straight on. It replaces the standard BOV. Wollongong.
  7. mahh... just have to wait n see
  8. lol ... its true don't get your nickers in a not In a time attack sense GTR's generally record their best times on their first lap ... with every subsequent lap being slower. Simple matter of physics ... more weight = faster tire wear = quickly slowing lap times Would be interesting to see 10 lap times back to back ................................................................................ As for Bathurst ... 1. Those cars were stripped out lightened race cars and they aren't going flat out to record the fastest time possible ... racers usually drive to conserve they're tires ... they don't go flat out every lap they use a strategy. 2. They were 200kg lighter stock. ................................................................................ I'm not saying that the new GTR is a bad car. As a daily it would be perfect . Leather, GPS, Bose stereo, seat heaters, 20's, 500hp I mean what more could you want. Who cares if it 1700kgs. But for a track warrior ... in stock trim with radials ... would be expensive changing those 20'' tires all the time I love how defensive people get about this stuff. Now let the flamming begin
  9. hey it makes the psssht noise LoL but if you wind the spring right down and put a pod filter on then it will make that other noise if you want. However doing so negates the entire reason for having a BOV in the first place. dou dou douuuuu! usually = reversion ... which is what you are trying to elminate with a BOV two offer have fallen through needs to go!
  10. ok thanks
  11. Its going to have the same weakness as all previous GTR's. It's going to be a one lap wonder. Lots-o-weight and soft semi-slicks = extremely quick tyre wear. Can't wait to see how it goes once HKS or someone build one completely out of Dry CF and get the weight down to like 1250ks or so will be a rocket then.
  12. Got to love 'google' {57534}{57577}Tell me what you think about this.|Koni adjustables. {57597}{57650}Gonna save us about 2 pounds. {57655}{57735}And they're gonna give us|better traction for the hole shot. Yup so bullshit. Hey did you know that the spiral up the ramp in 350 in tokyo drift is real. Rhys Millen did it for a $100 bucks a few times in a row. That blew me out. When I saw that bit of the movie I was like as if, but it's real. Neway back topic own his ass.
  13. Haven't you guys every seen Fast and Furious. The supra in that movie out gunned a Ferrari <-------- I know it was Black so it's not as fast a red one. Come to think of it they did put koni's in for better traction to get the hole shot thats probally the reason it was so fast. But seriously I like that idea about the circuit thing. Make sure you tell him how good his car is first and that you just want to see how your lowly Line stacks up against it. 'Just remember revenge is a dish best served cold'
  14. ohhh and this guy retails at $529.00
  15. it sure is ... fully adjustable between full atmospheric to full plumb back and anywhere in between.
  16. Hey, Just a quick question. Should I be cranking my engine over with no spark/fuel etc after changing my oil each time? I here that all you need to do is disconnect the plug at the back of the rocker cover to do this (SI RB25DET). Would it be worthwhile? Any thoughts would be appreciated
  17. After putting on my FMIC I had this prob. It turned out to be a loose connection that was causing the problem.
  18. Would someone repost pics please
