  1. What do you guys consider the aesthetically classic cars that just don't seem to date & were way ahead of their time? I guess the criteria is the cars have to still look sexy no matter how long ago they came out. Ok I'll get the ball rolling: 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG Lamborghini Countach Lamborghini Gallardo Ferrari 355 Ferrari Testarossa Porsche 911 (duh!) Nissan R34 GTR (no I'm not being biased here!) McClaren F1 I know I've missed a heap here but I'll leave it up to you guys add to the list!
  2. I can't believe this nice garnish hasn't sold yet! PM your interest.
  3. Thanks for the replies guys. What I plan to do now is take the standard ride height springs and put them on the non leaking shocks and install.
  4. Hi guys, I recently bought some stock suspension to clear a defect notice and after getting them installed 2 days later the rear starts feeling very bouncy. I noticed some oil patches at the rear wheels in the garage so the rears must be leaking hydraulic oil. It would have been nice if the suspension shop told me this! Can these be fixed? Cheers
  5. 1 garnish left. Will post anywhere in Australia PM for details.
  6. Do you have the boot liner/panel that sits directly infront of the battery? If so how much posted to Melb?
  7. Price drop to $790!!! I really need these gone PM for details!
  8. Garnish with clear writing sold. Garnish with chrome writing still up for grabs. PM for details.
  9. Still WTB boot liner. PM me if you have one for sale. Prefer Melbourne pick up.
  10. Awesome! Thanks for all the replies guys I got some reading to do
  11. I seemed to think they found the modified Skyline the quicker car even though it had less kW. They also point out that if you want to modify your car then the Skyline has more potential. I think a better comparison would have been a manual Skyline with suspension, exhaust and tune up against the same for the XR6T. The first round comparison the XR6T was a manual whereas the Skyline was tiptronic both times. The Skyline coupe also produces less roll then the four door variant which would have played a part. I personally like both. I like the practicality of the XR6T as it has four doors & good low down torque, but it is a heavy car. As an everyday driver I would take this as they are a very easy & comfortable car to drive. If I wanted to do some track work occasionally, modifcations and wanted the better looking car I would take the R34GTT. I suppose the absence of 2 doors on the coupe doesn't matter too much as I wouldn't be sitting in the back anyway Or you could just get a 4 door. Whichever it was I would go for a manual though!
  12. Both are straight 6 and where Ford has more power it is also heavier. If not already posted this may help you decide:
  13. The letters Y, L & E have very slight wear. It's hardly noticeable unless you look really close. The chrome is 95%+ intact across all letters. I'm in Wantirna.
  14. I was speaking to a guy that I was buying some parts off through ebay and he mentioned he was a Motorkhana champion some years ago in QLD. He then said it's some of the best training a driver can do. So this got me thinking, is there anywhere they teach you to fang your car or is it a case of just going to one and giving it a go?
  15. I forgot to mention I live in Melbourne & would prefer pick up as I'd imagine postage might be expensive.
  16. Hi guys, I'm after the liner/panel in the boot that covers up the battery etc.
