Checking the ECU

Hey guys Got a 32 GTR (finally) I'm pretty sure the ECU is std, but with the things I'm finding all over the car I just want to check it myself to be sure. where do i check and unscrew? is it the kick panel next to the passengers foot on the left? cheers mark

The car has been given a bit of a hit at oran park on monday. goes well, handles so much better then I thought. all the suspension on it would help, brakes didn't let me down one bit either, and i was hard on them. for anybody who got those maltech hoses, worth the cost! Hey guys Picked up my R on monday morning from the workshop, the only problem we found was one of the tension pulley things(not sure, there were 2 that we replaced) had siezed, so after $320 at nissan for 2 new ones, everything else is sweet. Rough list of what I had done last week Compliance full service (all fluids flushed and replaced, DAMN there is alot of them) All filters replaced Injectors cleaned and flowed Timing belt and tensioner pulleys replaced) Sump baffles fitted Mods fittied A heap of stuff, the motor came out for the baffles to be put in so it cost more labour there, but saved on labour elsewhere like the timing belt, front pipe and luckily we found the pulley problem while it was out. Mark (PS did advanced driver training on monday at oran park, FUN!!!!)

I've just spent almost 5K on servicing and mod fitting/compliance so start saving mate, plus my mods cost 6K over the last few months and they are all suspension, braking, replacement parts for old ones, Blitz dual EBC excl. had the tensioner pulleys and other stuff replaced, trying to make it more reliable. braided brakes hoses.....thinks like that. more of a circuit person then drag mark -
if you go to the RTA to register your car, you need the following guys!!!!: blue slip rego form PROOF OF OWNERSHIP OR PAYING INVOICE. jspec didn't know about this until me and 3 others tried to register our cars. SO BRING IT. auction houses don't give this to you need to get it from the person you get the car through or something B/L (forgot mine) and a GREEN SLIP(NOT NORMAL ONE, ESTABLISHMENT VERSION!) got it thorugh email now luckily. CAN now register, going tomorrow morning. mark

My mechanic hasn't had time with him working soley on my car. but after speaking to a place in Vic they said that they wouldn't be much thicker then the std shocks if at all. not too sure on it. They have from memory 4 height settings, and 16 damper adjustment settings, these are awesome, anyone wanting pics put there email here thanks heaps mark 0411113875 -

search for DEFI, I have previously found a link for a triple guage cluster, electronic. its DIN size so it slots right in alternativley if you have the current SPEED mag, see the bits and peices section, like 1294.00 new! mark

Hello As per usual I have bought something then the car has turned up with it I get my car back monday and it already has good dampers in it, so no point in changing them. OK, They have not been on the car, but I will be slightly flexible in price, these are the best condition pre-loved shocks I have seen in my life. I wouldn't have bought dodgy crap and I don't sell it I got no tools with it but I purchased a universal adjuster height adjust them. at 40 extra cost to me. this is included, as for the damper adjustment you can just use a suitable size alan key .
