Mr R32 M-Spec

I used jspec and were quite happy with the service, they're all great guys down there I got a 32GTR through them which should be here next week. Although depending on what your after, I have noticed there are alot of cars for sale at good prices. I know I felt ripped when I sold my R32 GTST in may, the guy got a good deal for what I had spent. Maybe it would be easier to just purchase one here already? cheers mark

So for the people who have recieved there GTRs, How are they? I can only think of Lucien right now but there must be others. any pics by the way lw? cheers mark (PS, just to be a pain, as it is now the new year, somebody was saying something about 15% less to pay now? is that still true? it would make the wait so much more worth it)

He had the car for a few days, Changed from old gas to new, cylender was damaged so he had to degas it, replace and regas it again. new control unit, from memory around 300. the guy I use is really really good. I always take any of my cars to him without a worry

UPDATE: my car is on hte ship, the B/L has been surrendered and jspec are waiting on it now. They said it will land in brissie, they do all the customs work and then roughly around 1 week after it lands, it gets delivered to my driveway.no hidden charges. they said it was included in the price when I purchased EXCELLENT@!!!! mark

Good question. I emailed ben earlier today. waiting on a reply I didn't get told anything about shipping. Jspec must arrange it to sydney for me. So it gets shipped to customs here in sydney does it?

sweet, I could never find out much about aircon with my last car. luckily the electrician I went to was able to fix it. needed a new control unit from japan!

how did you find that out?

I care for cars like I care for myself (better most times). hopefully mine will turn up in a good condition. its almost completley dead stock. wheels, cluster, gear knob etc. but engine stock I'm told. if it arrives in ok condition. I'll keep it that way

I'm waiting to hear back from jspec onthe BL's I had a look at that link richard, it doesn't list sydney as a stop, that means it gets trucked here from brissie does it? mark

DAMN!!!! I saw that car in the carpark at autsalon. I took more photo's of it then most of the cars inside (I couldn't workout why it was in the carpark) I'll keep an eye open for it mate. its a shame. hope these b%@ta#ds are caught,if not by the cops, then by a person who loves cars and beats them within an inch of there lives & leave them where they lay mark

I have been told that my car was on the ship (the prince) they think. they are having problems contacting the agent in japan as he's and aussie an is on holidays. Just waiting for the B/L now. should have it next week I'm told. this is a huge relief as I hsould have the car on the road by the end of jan and be able to do my drivers course in feb that I have paid for mark

yeah I know. its just I'm getting anxious I suppose, I think the clutch is on the way out in the shitebox I'm driving now, I didn't plan on buying it to have to last into 2005 (I bought my R in may and there was no indication of shipping problems at this point) I would just rather pay to get the car here quicker then to fix this thing up cheers mark

I have just spoken to ben, I've asked him to find out which port my car is/was at If it made it onto the ship on the 20/12, then sweet and I'm happy but if it hasn't made it on, then I'll be investing in a container, i want the car asap mark

what car was that? so the total cost to you from japan to here for the car ws 7372?

that is sweet man. I hope mines that clean when it arrives. although it would seem the most popular or common colour is GMG (mine too) could we see some more pics, like interior and engine bay? what mods did yours have when it arrived?

I bought and paid for mine in May this year If my bank account balance wasn't so low I'd have forgotten I bought one! suppsed to be on the ship for the 20/12, so hopefully (fingers x'd) I'll find out soon if its on that ship or not. I hope I don't miss it, I really just want to drive it, and my shitebox is dying mark

I was told last week that my car has been booked onto the ship leaving 20th december but I was told that the ship is over booked and we won't know for a little while yet. I am not holding my breath but I am hoping it does make it on. I have booked a drivers training course for the 7-2-05. if it isn't ready for that I'll have to find someone to take my place so how many guys here are expecting theirs to leave on the 20/12? ME! mark (PS i just want to congradulate ben from jspec for keeping me updated too, I have been a pain in the A#$e but he has responded when I emailed him)
