3 people die on central coast - R34 GTR ripped in half
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Blitz's topic in New South Wales
My deepest regrets to the families mark -
Well at this point, if its not going to turn up until jan, then I think I can whinge I didn't expect to have to wait so long, Although from some horror stories I have seen recently (going to workshops and talking to people) I have heard of 2 89 GTRs that were tested as ok in japan, got here and the engines blew, one siezed completely. after going through all this waiting and stuff, I would just have bought a 92/93 model that was already here for a few K more then what this is costing me for full servicing and complance when it lands here anyway the whole point was saving money, so I didn't want to spend more then 1K on a runabout I was just going to give away at th end of 6 months anyway thankyou for listening and your comments(didn't mean to sound angry or anything) Mark

damn, sorry to hear man and they go on doing it and doing it, until someone catches them, and beats them half to death and leaves them on the pavement to die, unfortunatley that is a 1 in a million chance of happening

I'm going to cry if mine doesn't make it on to the ship that is arriving in december, I will speak to the shop today and find out how thye work over the december period and stuff WHY IS NOTHING EVER EASY! god damn new cars, aren't the lots full! I drive past and think they can't have sold anything as there isn't anymore space to put cars on the lots mark (sorry, getting quite upset now as I wanted to drive it by xmas, it was my present to myself this year)

hope thats not the case steve I have emailed craig this morning, I got my IA faxed through to dotars yesterday morning at 7am then sent the originals xpress post for arrival today I don't know how long the form takes, but I assume if they could get it on the next boat (like they were trying I beleive) then the form would be back to me before the car arrives

R32 GT-R Wheels and Tyres.
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to lwells's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
can't be sure till it arrives I guess but for arguments sake, lets say it can support 235's all the way round, are they too wide for the front? would they make the steering heavy? btw, LW, hows the car going for compliance? do you know when it will be ready? -

cheers lucien That little gismo may be on the cards in the future but not right now. other stuff I want. so what is the best size to get, 225 all the way round? that seems a bit enimic on 17's I was thinking 235 all the way round, or will that throw something out, or too heavy on the steering. I basically like going to the track, and just got my cams license today so I plan to ,. planning more suspension in the near future, like adjustable arms and stuff cheers mark -

Mr R32 M-Spec replied to lwells's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
so was this all the way round std? on a gtr, just so I know when mine arrives, do you need to keep the tyres even all the way round? or do you get 1 size bigger at the back like 225 all the way round? or can you have 235 on the front, 245 on the back? mine will be arriving with Volk Gram lights on it in 17's cheers mark -
grasping at straws but get the coil that was cleaned tested but someone, also maybe the injectors are dirty or a dodgy one, by accelerating you are forcing more fuel through? wish I could be of help there

your car coming into Oz..
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to lwells's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
so what steps are there if you go from compliance compliance RTA - registration, then you get told to go to the pits RTA - pits inspection (they aren't looking for defects you say) RTA - registration I'm just trying to get this straight so as I go through next month I know how it all works cheers mark
